Best Flat Iron Out There

5

I have long, wavy hair that tends to rebel against my attempts to style it. In the past, it took a massive amount of hairspray for curls to stay in place longer than a couple of hours. And after straightening it, my hair would start to get very frizzy as the day progressed. Which is why, most days, I didn't bother fixing my hair at all. It took too long and it wasn't worth it. When I did, however, I would use cheap drugstore-bought straighteners and curling irons, not realizing there was something better (and easier) out there. Then I saw an ad for GHD and saw a woman curling her hair with it in a matter of minutes. I had to try it! Here's the deal: you get what you pay for. This flat iron is expensive. It's also, without a doubt, the best hair styling tool I have ever used, and worth every penny. It's easy to use, it's incredibly durable (I've had zero problems with mine and I've owned one for years), and it works 100x better than anything by Revlon, Conair, or even CHI. I can curl my hair with it, spritz it with a small amount of hairspray, and it stays all day and all night! When I straighten it, it's glossy and smooth and lasts until morning. Peoples, this is the real deal. If your hair is difficult to manage and you haven't tried a professional flat iron before, I highly recommend GHD. Actually, I recommend GHD no matter what kind of hair you have! It's that awesome.

Worth Every Penny and Every Second

This is the best straightener ever. It not only straightens but puts shine in your hair too. No need for extra hair protection for this straightener. GHD (Great Hair Day) straighteners don't damage your hair the way most straighteners do. I recommend this for all hair types no matter how horrid your hair is. You will have a great hair day if you use this.

Amazing. My naturally curly hair straightened fast with this GHD

Everyone was talking about the "other" 3-letter flat-iron manufacturer. I borrowed my roommate's a few times. It seemed too hot...and I burned myself a couple times. I researched and researched...and none of it made any sense. All I knew was I had unruly, naturally curly hair that needed to **relax**. I was in LA visiting a friend when I was introduced to GHD. WOW! That was my first response when reading the price tag. Then WOW! again...after seeing the amazing results. Fast heating, very durable (I'm hard on everything), and easy to use. I haven't burned myself once in 2 years. I abuse my hair with color every 5 weeks and straighten nearly every day. By now, it should be dried out and split all over. It's not. You can't tell at all, after I've straigtened it - the iron somehow makes everything smooth. I do recommend using a little "silk" type lotion on your hair before you straighten. It helps add shine and makes the hair slide through the plates with ease. I would DEFINITELY recommend and will purchase another one, if this one ever wears out. And the roommate using that "other" flat iron? I bought her a GHD Gold for Christmas. She's never gone back.

Even better than a CHI

This professional straightener is awesome.  My sister, who is a hair stylist, got it for me for Christmas and I love it.  I had a  Chi prior to this, and this one works even better than my Chi did!  It works great with any type of hair, and it does not have a temperature adjustment, it goes well with any thickness or thinness.  It heats up very fast, and works great.  It is also super easy to curl your hair with it, too.  The gold series does not catch on your hair, and reduces frizz and makes your hair shiny while you straighten.  It is a bit expensive, but lasts for a very long time and you will not spend nearly half the time straightening your hair that you would with a cheaper type of straightener.  It also has cute designs you can get on the outside, and mine came with a pad to set the straightener down on so you do not ruin your countertops.  This works wonders, and I highly suggest it.

This GHD Gold Series straightener is very gentle on your hair.

I have a GHD Gold series straightener and it works wonders. It doesn't rip your hair or damage your hair. The Gold series straightener uses whatever wattage it has to use and that it. So it will never blow a fuse or flip a braker. It also does not have a tempature adjuster on it. It goes by the thickness of your hair. If your hair is thin or you are taking a very thin parting to straighten it uses less heat but if you are taking thick partings or your hair is on the thicker side it uses more heat. It only uses enough heat to not damage your hair. you can also curl your hair with this gold series straightener. it makes perfect curls so easy. All you have to do to make the curls is bend the straightener and keep going till you get to the end of your hair strand. Its very simple really. This straightener is great for shot or long hair. It is only one inch so short hair fits right into it and you don't have to worry about burning yourself. and for long hair i explained that before with the thickness part. It is a very great product to own.
