I have this refrigerator for fourteen years now and it's still going strong. The size is perfect for my apartment and for a family of three. The freezer on the top is really good because it's always frost-free. My previous refrigerator's freezer is always filled with frost and I had to defrost it from time to time. In addition, it has a built-in ice maker inside. It also has a removable ice bin underneath it to hold the ice cubes that come out from the ice-maker. It takes only a couple of minutes for it to drop the first couple of ice cubes. There's also room on the freezer door for you to put some small stuff as well. The bottom grocery compartment is really good too. There are two shelves and two big removable bins underneath them. We store vegetables and fruits inside those two bins. There is a temperature knob inside where you can adjust the temperature. (A to E with E being the coldest). The door shelf allows you to put cartons of milk, bottles of sodas, cartons of fruit juice. There's plenty of room for you to store those on the door shelf. However, it's pity that there is not a place where you can store the eggs because there is not a egg holder built into this refrigerator. Recently, our place lost electricity for a week due to hurricane Sandy. However, the food inside the refrigerator were still good after a week without power. Amazing!

I inherited my GE No-Frost Refrigerator-Freezer about 10 years ago, when I moved into my new home. It has 18.2 cu. ft capacity, which is plenty for me even though I do a fair amount of catering. The door hinges can be switched easily to accommodate the layout of your kitchen, and the unit actually comes on wheels, which came in handy when I recently had the kitchen flooring replaced (just rolled the fridge out, plugged it in to an outlet in another room, and rolled it back afterwards). This model has a top freezer, with one shelf. The icemaker is inside the freezer, and runs fairly quietly (you mostly hear the clunk from the cubes dropping into the bin). It takes a couple of hours to fill the bin, but you can also remove it to create more freezer space in a pinch. The refrigerator section has a dairy compartment, as well as two vegetable bins and two movable shelves. They all wipe up cleanly with a damp sponge. Inside the door, you have plenty of room for condiments, and you can easy store 2 liter soda bottles or half gallon milk containers in it. When the icemaker is off, the entire unit is so quiet you'd never know it was even there! I've had absolutely no problems in the past 10 years.
