This refrigerator is adequate. It looks nice, but scratches easily. It also makes ice really fast - which is great, but if you don't watch it, it will start to overflow. I have to empty the ice maker once a week because I don't use it often enough. I haven't had any major issues with the refrigerator though. That is, generally it functions just fine. I haven't had to call anyone for a repair. Also, I use the freezer a lot. When I make meals, I make a large amount and freeze extra individual portions for later. My freezer is always full and I'm constantly moving things around to figure out how to make things fit. However, I'm not a fan of the freezer on the bottom either. Although there is extra space, you have to dig for things that are on the bottom and cannot easily see what you have. Therefore, I still prefer the side by side for now. I may just need a wider one. I will stick with GE though as I have found their appliances to be of the best quality among all brands.

This GE refrigerator is durable, modern, and efficient. The interior is very well organized and is fairly easy to clean. Because of the side-by-side design, this refrigerator makes room for plenty of groceries. I am able to keep 5 gallons of milk, 24 bottles of water, and 24 cans of soda, as well as other beverages all at once. With this being said, there is also a lot of room in the produce and meat drawers on the refrigerator side. On the freezer side, there are places for storage in the door, and there are shelves, as well as a drawer at the bottom. This refrigerator also has a very sleek design, which does not easily become damaged. This product is also fairly energy efficient and features a ice and water fountain. The tray is provided for the feature and it is easily removed for easy access in cleaning the compartment. The ice maker is also very quick to produce ice and you can adjust the temperature of the freezer and refrigerator sides on the outside of the refrigerator. It is an electronic option.

Well, first off, I am not a fan of GE appliances because all the GE appliances that I have ever owned have had some kind of problem with them. This is the fridge that came with the house that we bought. The builder had decided to go with all GE appliances... i cannot imagine why. The fridge is on the noisy side. I use to have Frigidaire side by side in my previous house and LOVED it. It was so quiet. this one makes so much noise for water and ice making. I do like the capacity inside. Comes with 2 drawers inside. I guess you ahve to put your fruits and veggies into one, there is no way to control the temp for the 2 drawers. They both remain the same. it also comes with a little snack drawer, which is nice. The freezer side is not that big since it is a side by side. I havent noticed anything wrong with the freezer so far. the shelves are easily adjustable, another plus. But overall, i am not too thrilled about the fridge. So far its doing it job, and thats all it matters. As long as this doesnt break down on me, I'm ok. I have heard GE appliances break easily... not good.

When selecting a refrigerator for our new home, we were very limited by the size due to overhead cabinets. We also needed a side by side due to the gally kitchen. We were thrilled to find this model with the options we wanted. Overall this is a great appliance. I do wish we had the room to not need a side by side since your freezer space is so limited. The ice maker is also a bit on the noisy side, and we get an overall glaze in the freezer frequently. I do love the look though and have no major complaints. I would recomend the GE brand to others looking for a new refrigerator! Noise Level The ice maker is very loud when filling up the tray and dropping the cubes. Interior Organization As good as can be expected from a side by side! Temperature Control Ocassionally have problems with strawberries freezing while in the produce bin. Never have problems with items in the back of the fridge freezing though. Ease of Cleaning Easy to remove drawers and shelves for cleaning Durability Have only had to replace a cracked dairy door. Has held up nicely. Design The ice compartment tends to over fill at times.
