Wish I could have my old washer back....
Our old Kenmore washing machine died after 13+ years of service. My husband ordered the GE Profile Top Load Washer WPRE6150/K without my knowledge. The first time I used it I knew there would be trouble. I'd dropped a couple of towels on the way to the machine. I found the towels after the GE Profile Top Load Washer WPRE150/K had filled with water. The towels that were already in the washer were barely wet. The machine added no more water after I placed the dropped towels in the washer. So adding clothes after the cycle has begun is impossible. That's my least favorite feature of this washer. Next, the cycles are really long. Minimum wash time is about 45 minutes. Some are more than an hour. Most of the time I don't care how long the cycle is but sometimes I'd like to be able to do a quick wash. Even the delicate cycles are 45 minutes. The GE Profiler Top Load Washer WPRE6150k/H does inconsistent cleaning. Some items look really good and others don't look like they even get wet. This family of six does a lot of laundry. The GE Profile Top Load Washer WPRE6150K/H is not a good fit for us! It's not energy saving if I have to rewash clothes that don't come out clean the first time.
