We wanted an over-the-stove microwave that is compact yet still able to accomodate larger bowls/items. This microwave does just that! It has a nice, sleek look but is large enough to cook just about anything! The cooking temp seems consistent, and this microwave offers a variety of cooking speeds. Very top quality item!!

Excellent. Has all the options you need for anything from popcorn to steaks. The different power options are excellent for baby foods and the defrost feature is wonderful when you forget to take out the meat for dinner Performance The unit performs well. You set a time or a power level and that is what you get. This is especially important for baby food and baking items. You depend on the settings to perform as commanded to make sure your food comes out correctly. Settings/Features This unit has multiple settings and features to choose from to make your cooking come out correctly. The panel is easy to follow. Ease of Cleaning The tray comes out easily for cleaning and the corners are easy to reach as well. Our microwave, although it is 3 years old, looks like new. Ease of Use The panel is clear and simple to use. It is well laid out with instructions of what to push of what you want to do. Durability It is extremely durable. As I said we have had it tor 3 years and it looks like new and we use it for everything. Design It is very attractive.

My husband and I bought this microwave to use in a rental house that we own and rent out, and because the house is older (1947), the kitchen is quite small, with nowhere to really install a microwave that goes over the stove. This GE Profile microwave is quite compact, yet with a good holding capacity inside with 2.2 Cubic feet, and it had all the functions anyone could ever need to heat up and cook food with. We got to use it for a few months before we rented our house out and it performed flawlessly, and according to our renter, it is still working great. It is quite powerful with 1200 Watts, so it will heat up your food in a jiffy. The only minor negative is the fact that it does not have a handle to open or close the door, and opening the door is not a problem, it is closing it that can be a bit annoying. You almost have to slam it for it to connect and shut. But it has not been a deal breaker, it looks and works great. Performance This is a very powerful microwave and will heat up your food FAST! Settings/Features It has many features, some of which we never actually used. So you are bound to find the feature you need for all your heating up or cooking needs. Ease of Use It is quite intuitive and buttons are labeled quite clearly, making it easy to use it right out of the box. Durability We have had this microwave in our rental for several years now and it still performs as if it were new. Design I give the design an 8 instead of a 10 because of the door issue. Closing it can be a bit of a pain.
