We opted for the GE Profile range because we had been fairly happy with our previous GE oven and this was a step up in looks and function. While not perfect, this model features great temperature control, two small-, two medium-, and one large-size burners, easy to use temperature and time controls, and an overall easier-to-clean design. The finish on this range is sleek and beautiful and manages to retain its good looks even through constant use. The main reason for this is because the GE Profile is so easy to wipe down daily. The burner lids (don't know what else to call them) come off easily and can be wiped clean with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Unfortunately, the grates themselves are not as easy to clean. Whatever I use on them--magic eraser, dishcloth, sponge--tends to pill up and sometimes get stuck in the textured surface. The GE Profile does a great job of both temperature control and heat distribution. I personally don't care for the different burner sizes though. We rarely use the two small ones and would prefer just medium and large. In the time we've had the GE Profile range we've hosted family gatherings and large dinners, and the oven has served us well. Overall, I'm happy with it and have a feeling it will serve us for many years to come.
