We replaced our Whirlpool stove with the GE Cafe series oven. We selected the GE model oven in stainless steel and a part of our overhaul of our old kitchen with white appliances to a newer more updated kitchen. We also selected a GE profile series refrigerator and GE dishwasher that matched this stove and all in stainless steel. As far as the stove goes it has all the features a person would expect a stove to have. It may have more features than I need as I am a basic cook but I think a person with more culinary skills would really appreciate this model. It has a lot of digital features and the display is on the front of the stove not the back like a traditional stove. It is a large capacity size oven so it fits the largest dishes we will cook - especially nice on Holidays. Additionally the range top portion of the stove is ample size to accommodate cooking all size meals. It also heats correctly and cooks our food evenly and well. The stove is self cleaning which is a feature I can't imagine not having. It has a storage drawer underneath which is handy for placing rarely used cooking pots. The drawback I have found is the stainless steel finish takes more cleaning and we use a special cleanser.

This range is very nice. I just remodeled my kitchen and the them of it is that it has a lot of stainless steel. The stainless steel was an important decision in purchasing this range because it looks modern and it lasts years. The range has a very strong set of burners. My water and food boils very quickly because the burners are so well made. I like the ease of sliding the range into my kitchen. We did not have any trouble getting it set up and that was a big relief. The oven is large and it heats my food well. I am able to cook my turkey in it at Thanksgiving because it is so large. The stainless steel of the stove can be a bit annoying at times because it shows fingerprints whenever my kids touch it. But all i need to do is wipe it with a cloth and it is fine. I enjoy the knobs because I do not have to reach over the burners in order to get to them. The knobs are clearly labeled so I know which goes with which burner.

I cannot say how much I LOVE my GE Cafe dual-fuel oven!  When we were renovating our kitchen, we picked the rest of our appliances to go with this oven.   - It is the only dual fuel option out there that still has a double oven - most have converted the second oven to a warming drawer. - The gas fueled cook top heats things quickly and evenly (and I especially love the PowerBoil feature.) - The large "eye" in the middle lets me use even my biggest pot. And it comes with a removable griddle. - The cook top is very easy to clean. - The electric oven bakes and browns very easily, and has a convection option, plus two broil options. The GE Cafe dual-fuel oven is definitely worth the money!

I have owned this stove for three years now and I don't have one complaint. It replaced a Kenmore Elite Duel Fuel that had so many problems that the repair man just couldn't fix it any more so the store that we bought it from said to pick out any stove that we wanted, so I went to Consumers Report and found the GE stove, what a find! I just did a turkey using the probe and it was the moistest turkey we ever had. Everything I do with this stove comes out perfect. If you need a new stove look into this one I'm glad I did.

I've had this stove for about two years now. Oven works great but burners are horrible. Can't cook on top burners **if oven is on**. Constant air blowing out of the back, making it difficult to control flame with much longer cooking time required. It takes forever to boil water and cook sauce. Not nearly as powerful as they describe. Looks pretty but try cleaning the oven door exterior. Mine wasn't even dirty. I worked on it for twenty minutes today and it still looks streaked and dirty, certainly not like a quality stainless steel. When I called customer service they said I would have to pay for a service call ??? Buyer beware..

Wanted the cooking control of gas with the even baking of electric.  Got both and more!  This range has a REAL simmer burner plus 2 all-purpose burners.  The power burner is used more than I thought it would.  Warming drawer is a great asset! Broils without the splatter and smoke!  Turns itself up and down to broil evenly so pork chops come out juicy!!

This GE Dual Fuel arrived almost dead.  The control panel mostly didn't work, and after 2 days did not work at all.  That eliminates my ability to use most of the functions of the stove.  The stove top is still available to me, but it is barely working.  Two of the burners are unusable and the others are not working properly.  I have to wait 2 1/2 weeks before Sears can come out to fix it.  When they get here, I'm sending it back.  I do not want a stove that has such bad quality control in the factory. Consumer Reports was wrong.  I am back to researching what stove to buy next.
