I needed a new washer and this one is perfect. There are so many settings. You can let the washer choose the water needed or you can choose from small to super load. you can choose from dedicates, towels, etc.. The stainless steel tub holds up super well and it is energy efficient as well. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I needed to replace my old washing machine and found a good deal on this GE washer. This is the second washer I've owned and the first with electronic controls/display. It's a welcome addition and makes doing laundry mildly more fun. There's many settings and customization choices such as 20 wash cycles, 5 water level options, and a delay start feature. I live alone, so being able to customize the water level to the amount of laundry I'm doing is a great way to save water and money. Or if I need to wash something that I want to wash separately (shoes, dirty rags), I can set it to the lowest water level and set the appropriate wash cycle. The delay feature is pretty handy too. I usually do two loads at a time, so when I put the first load into the dryer, I'll put the second load in the washer and delay it by 30 minutes. By the time the second load finishes in the washer, the load in the dryer is completely dry! Great way to save time and effort. The controls are straightforward and easy to use. Aesthetically, this washer will not win any design awards. It's very basic and simple, but mine is stored in a laundry room, so curb appeal is not necessary for me. Performance wise, clothes have come out clean and well washed. Exactly what you need from a washing machine!
