This has been a good fridge.  We have had it for 5 years so far.  The positives are the sleek design, shelving space, space for a pizza in the freezer (vertical space next to the ice maker), and being very quiet.  I also like having the filtered water up front, with a lock to be child-proof.  Negatives:  the ice maker gets stuck a lot and we have to push the lever up or down.  This is annoying since its a pain to get to the ice maker.  Otherwise, its nice that it makes regular and crushed ice.  My biggest problem are the shelves in the freezer.  They shrunk after we purchased it and constantly fall off the shelving grooves.  Very annoying because the shelves keep crushing our food.  While the brushed stainless is very nice, it scratches easily.  I couldn't put any kid letter magnets on the fridge because they will scratch it.  The price was good though in comparison to other stainless side-by-sides.

The first thing we noticed to when switching to the Frigidaire FRS6HF55KS was the energy saving features and the overall result of lower energy bills.  Overall the Frigidaire is pretty quiet for the most part.  It can get a little noisy when the ice maker kicks in but for a family that uses a lot of ice,  it hasn't been too bothersome with an open kitchen/living room combination.  This is our first automatic ice machine on a fridge, (I know welcome to the 21st century) so for the most part we love it.  Easily moves from crushed ice to cubes and haven't had any issues.  We do sometimes run into temperature issues with the fridge, maybe a minor annoyance.  We've noticed that temperatures inside the fridge varies at different areas.  Especially from the back of the fridge to the front.  Anything we place near the back has a tendency to freeze.  We've called the company and they've told us repeatedly that its all normal.  As it's only a minor annoyance, when you pull out a frozen Coke or see a dish of frozen left overs from the night before you start moving things around a bit.  It has plenty of space, they really did a good shop on shelf spacing, as everything from bottles of beer, soda, to meat, veggies and butter each have nice separate spots that fits perfectly.  We gave up a little space in the freezer with the auto ice maker but its still big enough to support all our frozen foods.  Overall we love the energy efficiency and pretty solid all the way around for the price.
