Reliable if used casually
The Frigidaire Freestanding Gas Range has been a very reliable stove for me. This stove doesn't get much use, but when it does it performs very well. I was instantly drawn to this range because of it's look and design. It's very sleek and has a modern take on kitchen appliances. The first time turned on one of the burners I was surprised not to hear several clicks. This stove instantly ignites and I don't 't have to make any adjustments to lower the flame like on my previous gas stove. All four burners are still operational and heat evenly after several years of casual use. One of the best things about the Frigidaire Freestanding Gas Range is the glass window. This window in combination with the indoor light enables me to clearly see how far along my baking process is going without opening the door and losing heat. This is very crucial for me because when preparing certain foods I need the temperature to remain at the programmed setting. Any drop in temperature can change the texture and taste of the food I'm preparing. My only major concern with this stove is that on two occasions the gas connector loosened up just enough that a faint scent of gas could be smelled in the kitchen area. I have since replaced the connectors and haven't had this problem occur again.
