I love this product. I was desperate to find something that would bring my lack luster hair back to life, and I'm glad I found it. You are meant to use this product about once a week and a little goes a long way. I use about the size of a dime in my hair (which is thick and medium in length) and I wouldn't need more. After you shampoo and condition your hair as usual, apply the glaze and use a wide toothed comb or your fingers to brush it through to the ends, wait a few minutes and rinse. This is my favorite part mecause it makes my hair feel dramatically smoother and I can barely stop touching it when I'm rinsing it. The result after your hair is dried and styled is a suprisingly shiny smooth head of hair. It's amazing that this product can make such a difference. Also, the bottle lasts a very long time if you use the proper amount on a weekly basis. One little tip, use the glaze the same day each week so you never miss an application.

I have frizzy hair, particularly if I have to brush my hair while it is drying. I prefer to let my hair air-dry because I don't like the hassle and time it takes to blow it dry. The only products I typically use are ones to help the frizzies stay at bay or, when my hair is shorter, to emphaisize the natural wave/curl it has. So, I am in the perpetual search for a product that will simplify my routine or work better than the last. I tried this one out because the product description on the Sephora.com website appeared to speak directly to me and address my needs. Well, it just hasn't been so. I have been using as directed for a few weeks, tweaking the amount and timing of the application. I really don't see any results. I am willing to use the product until it runs out to see if there is a cumulative effect (thought that probably means build-up). I still like the brand, but I am not a fan of this product. Frederic Fekkai Salon Glaze Clear Shine Rinse is the biggest waste of beauty money I've experienced in a long time.  I love Frederic Fekkai products and so I was really excited when this product came out onto the market.  I am on a continuous quest to make my hair shampoo-commerical shiny, without any particular success so far.  As for the product itself, it is very easy to use.  You just put it on the shower for a few minutes and rinse.  Then, after a few tries you are supposed to have shiny hair.  I used it for three weeks and my hair looked exactly the same.  Actually, it may have looked worse because the glossy serum never rinses out completely, so it has a tendency to weigh hair down and make it look even more lifeless.  So my hair was limp and remained dull and not shiny.  I was incredibly disappointed at the ineffectiveness of this product, particularly given the price.  While I generally go out of my way to recommend the Fekkai line, this one is one you should steer clear of.

Fekkai Salon Glaze Clear Shine Rinse certainly did add shine to my hair!  This product is a rinse that yiu apply to your hair once it is shampooed and conditioned.  You need to squeeze out any excess water from your hair, apply this glaze, and then rinse it out after five minutes.  It is gentle enough to use every day if you wish, but I find I only need to use this product once or twice a week and my hair is always left feeling soft and looking very luminescient!  It also seems to boost the color of my home hair colored brunette hair, as my color usually seems to fade about three weeks into a hair dye job.  This is a great product to use if you want to give your hair that extra little boost to your color and shine, without taking very long to apply.  It is minimul effort for maximum results with this salon glaze.  There is also no harsh scent or anything damaging to the hair with this product, which is important for people like me who already damage their hair with the coloring and the blowdryer anmd the occasional use of the curling iron!
