One of the Best Socket 939 Motherboards
This motherboard was great for the Socket 939 processor. It wasn't the top board but definitely in the top 3. It had the then new nForce 4 chipset and had PCI-Express x16 slot over the older AGP 8x slot so it supported the newer graphics cards. It also supported the Socket 939 dual core processors as well which was definitely a huge benefit as some companies chose to only have their top boards support those newer processors and not their cheaper motherboards. It had decent on board sound but definitely not the best in the world. A true audiophile would definitely want to upgrade to something discrete and better. This board was an okay overclocker. Unfortunately during this time period, overclocking was more limited by the motherboard and RAM than the processor so as long as you had great RAM, you would have been able to get at least a 400Mhz overclock on your processor provided you had decent CPU cooling.
