This is the best dehumidifier that I have ever owned. Not only is it very energy efficient, but it has the ability to wick away the dangerous moisture an potential mildew in the air in every large room in my house in absolutely no time at all. This thing gets used overtime in the winter in my house. I swear by it to keep our home fresh, and I know that since I have been using it these last couple of winters, it has kept my families colds and flus at bay. It is not too noisy of a unit either, and very easy to move around from room to room. The dehumidifier does not need to run very long, I use it maybe a couple of hours everyday. I also empty it out every day because I love to see just how much moisture from the air it has trapped, it is very satisfying and reassuring to me. I have owned it fro over three years now, and it shows no signs of giving out anytime soon. This one is a keeper.

The maximum area size that this unit can support, according to the manual, is 2000 square feet and it can remove moisture from the air at a rate of 30 pints per day. The tank capacity is 1.5 gallons which is a bit small and for humid conditions could require frequent emptying of the tank. However, there is the option of using continuous drainage to an external drain. The unit is on wheels and can be moved from room to room. There are three modes of operation: - Normal - fan speed is low and dehumidifies according to the humidity level setting - Turbo - fan speed is high and dehumidifies according to the humidity level setting - Continue - continuous dehumidifying I usually set the humidity level to 60% and leave the dehumidifier in normal operation mode.
