We bought the Fitline e200 after some research and looking around at different stores and websites. This seems to have most of the features that other, more expensive, ellipticals have. We have had it for several months and it has lived up to my expectations. It does need to be plugged in to use the programs. Programming is very simple. It has many options to choose from and there is also a manual option. I like that I can keep track of my calorie loss, distance, and amount of time I am exercising all at once. It is also very easy to change the mode during your workout if you want more or less resistance. There is a pause button so that if you need to stop for a moment yo can start again where you left off. I need this function often, being a busy mom of three. This is the first elliptical we have owned so I can't compare it to much, but I am very pleased with it so far. My only complaint is that it does get a little noisy at times. But that may be the case with most large exercise equipment.
