The sent was ok as the place I bought had only one scent. It seemed to make my hair softer but a busy mom that has no time to dry- it isn't a shampoo I would recommend this to. If you don't dry I felt like my hair was heavier and dirty than normal. If you have time to dry do as the hair then didn't feel so heavy. It did make it easy to brush through my hair for sure with less bottles in the shower.

When I first came across this Hair One at the beauty supply store I was so excited! It clams that it's basically just like Wen, but it's a fraction of the price. When I brought it up the the counter I asked the woman working there about it. She said she hadn't personally tried it but that she read that it got better reviews than Wen. Well, I've been using Wen for over a year and I was so happy to find a comparable brand that cost so much less! I couldn't wait to try it! And then reality smacked me in the face. Once again I had to learn the hard way that you get what you pay for. This stuff is awful! It is nothing like Wen. The quality is not even close. My hair felt like straw after using Hair One. It didn't look clean when I dried it. It was like I hadn't done anything to it at all. So purchase Hair One at your own risk. Me? I'll stick with my I Wen. Effectiveness Worst hair cleansing product I have ever used! I would not recommend Hair One to anyone. EVER! Scent It smells ok, nothing special but not terrible either.

Tried this for about 6 weeks. Thick creamy tecture with a light scent. Easily distributed through hair. Easily combed through. Hair is slightly rough while rinsing, dries soft with minimal fly aways. Still have to use something to tame the fly aways. I have thick curly/wavy color treated hair past my shoulders. Effectiveness Worked well enough but no more remarkable than a good shampoo and conditioner Scent Very light slightly medicinal scent

I initially bought Hair One because I was curious about Wen and did not want to shell out big bucks for something I may not like. While Hair One is slightly pricier than a lot of shampoos and conditioners, it is worth the cost. Since I have color treated hair, I bought that particular formulation. My hair is cleansed and left softer and more manageable than some of the pricier salon shampoos/conditioners have left it. My ends look and feel hydrated and no longer dry and damaged. The only drawbacks I have found are that it does require a good bit of product to effectively cleanse the hair and a little more time than some want to spend. Other than that, it is a great product and has replaced the separate shampoo and conditioner I used in the past.

I was looking a cheaper alternative to Wen, when I found this product. I've never tried Wen, so I cannot compare the 2. I've been using the Hair One for color treated hair now for a week. So far I'm very pleased. On day one, I could feel the menthol in the product on my scalp, but after that I've noticed that warm cooling feeling that menthol has. The first few days I didn't use it as a leave conditioner and the results were okay, but I may have gotten the wrong formula, my hair is pretty dry and damaged from bleaching and from using irons on it. My hair felt clean, but was still dry with fly aways. On day 4 I started using as a leave in conditioner too. The results are 10 times better. My hair doesn't feel dry, nor do I have any fly aways. My hair has body and is easily managed now. I think I've only used the flat iron on it once and that was just to polish off my look. I don't have any problems with it feeling like its building up which was a concern I had. Also, I've noticed that I'm not shedding as much, before my husband said I shed worse than the dog. For me this product is working well and I plan to keep on using it. Scent The first time I used it, I could smell the menthol in it, but after using it for a week I can't really smell the product. I would like to have a sweeter smell.

I recently purchased this product after viewing a TV advertisement. I really like this night cream. It goes on greasless and is very smooth. My face feels great and is not messy on my pillow. As far as night moisturizers go, this is the very best I have tried. Believe me...I have tried them all!i have found this product living up to what it promises i am 49 years old but people mistake me for 30.good value at a great price

I am a wen user that decided to try hair one..I really wanted to love this product as I could just run to sallys & pick it up...and it's cheaper...not by much though when you compare it to the 32oz wen & the results... the wen fig is the only one I use & I LOVE everything about it...I tried the hair one olive oil & just can't find a single nice thing to say about the actual product other than the cost comparison...the hair just felt like cheap conditioner...didn't tingle as much as wen, didn't detangle nearly as well & made my hair look so frizzy...I even used some as a leave in conditioner...my hair isn't as shiny and smooth & just doesn't feel good either...it was a frizzy mess right out of the shower...wen smooths my hair so nicely & adds shine & bounce...I always end with a cool water rinse for shine & also did so for this comparison..sadly my hair feels like it's been coated with a cheap waxy conditioner on it similar to pantene except for my ends which are very dry and rough feeling...bottom line...you get what you pay for.

I found sulfate free Hair one cleanser and conditioner at Sally's and decided to try it.Same premise as WEN, but a more affordable product! There is more than one variety,but I chose the brand with JOJOBA and it worked wonderfully!! Shiny, clean and beautiful hair at a great price!
