Love this swing, one of my best picks for new and experienced moms. I got this swing in 2007 for my first child, he could not get enough of it, and now using it with my second. I love the option of swing or glide. Sometimes he will only go to sleep gliding and other days he only wants to swing. And also the option for batteries or plug into wall. Just because we used it all the time I'm thankful for the plug in the wall we would have gone through a ton of batteries.. We don't use it as often as we did with our first, but he still loves it. Also love that it has an infant cushion and then you can remove it for when they get older. Nice 2 position reclining. Has a lap strap to make sure baby don't fall out, it also comes with a tray, we don't really use that maybe a few times to hold a toy on it but kind of useless for our needs.. It is a big swing and we have a small house but we manage. It does fold up pretty well. I like that the Mobile swings out of the way so it is easier to get in and out, that it is stationed on a hard part not on the part that swings so it don't move when it swings.

this swing was awesome - reason #1 - it plugs into the wall!  no batteries required!  another reason? - the easy switch between swinging and gliding. this was really handy because my baby seemed to be pretty moody about what kind of motion he wanted - sometimes he would only sleep in when gliding, other times he seemed to prefer swinging.  it was nice to be able to switch things up a little. the music was also nice and soothing, and the tray was handy for little snacks when he got a little older.  i never used the hanging toy because it didn't actually move or do anything special to get my baby's attention.  the only thing that made it move was the motion of the swing, but when he was a newborn i didn't let it rock hard enough to affect the hanging toys. the hanging toys were also too high for him to reach until he got to the age that he was too active to sit for long and and he acted like the toys weren't very interesting anyway.

I do love this swing.The first thing I will say, though, is that it is big and bulky. If you are tight on space, this isn't the right swing for you. If you are looking to easily move a swing from room to room, this isn't the one to move! BUT, with that being said, it is portable enough so that if you want to bring it outside you can since it can also run on battery power. We kept batteries in the swing while it was plugged in. It will not use the battery until the power plus is removed from the swing, so that was a nice feature. I really liked the way you can choose for the swinging or gliding motion. My little one loved the gliding motion and was unhappy when it would be in the swing motion.  My child napped in this swing almost daily and this is how we also would put the babe to sleep. Once asleep we would stop the machine so it didn't move.  There is a nice safe harness that goes between the legs. As long as your child isn't trying to sit on their own, they will be fine with this machine. There is also a tray that snaps into place, but we never used it.  The music was nice and realxing and has several tunes to try.

This swing goes from swinging to gliding with a very simple movement.  Different ages of babies like the different motion, so this swing grows with your baby.  My baby loves the bunnies above her head.  I love that you can change the volume of the music, but I wish I could put my own music in.  I've found baby electronic toy music to usually be rather annoying.  This is no exception.  I'm glad I can turn it to the lower volume, but I wish I had different music options, like an mp3 plug.  I like that it folds up flat so that we can lean it up against the wall when we're not using it, though it is still plenty big.  Now that my baby is older and doesn't use it as often, I keep thinking I should go put it out in storage, just to clear up some space.   The cover has fun colors and print.  Overall, I like the swing. It does its job of calming/entertaining a baby when I'm busy for a moment.  My only complaint, really, is the music.  But maybe that's a personal problem.  :)

So I've been babysitting for almost 4 years now and I have to say, this Baby Glider ahs to be one of the best I've eevr seen. I child I usually babysit tends to cry easily, but after I put him in it, it was awesome! :) He laughed and it had to be one of the best babysitting ecperiences ever. My favorite part of this baby glider though has to be the comfort level for the baby. Thr fabric is nice and sot and is good for babies of any skin condition. Also, the frame is quite sturdy so you don't have to worry about it falling apart, wearing down, or anythign like that. The music and little toy attachments to the baby swing are also pretty cute if I mmust say.  I've never seen my little charge kick and giggle so much. :) So parent,s mothers, babysitters, who ever, this Fisher Price Swing and Glide Baby Swing is essential for babies. You'lll love it, take it from a Fisher Price user. I've been using Fisher Price for 2 years and their products never fail to keep me satisfied.

I liked this swing mostly because it wasnt low to the ground, and i didn't have to bend that much, especially right after i had the baby.  This swing was very convenient for me because it folded up easily and i could just stick it in my trunk because i was on the go so much.  I also loved this swing because it worked off of battery or by the plug in adaptor.  I would definately recommend this product to a friend.

I was given this swing by my former daycare provider and I absoloutley fell in love with it! One of the things which made me fall for the product is the fact that it is Electric. When you have a normal swing you realize how costly they can be due to having to replace batteries over and over. If you buy the generic batteries they dont last long yet who can afford the more expensive? And if your life me often the swing is a nessicary item! So running out of batteries can be horrible! With this swing it is electric so never any bogging down or worrying over batteries dying! The swing offers you 2 operation modes. You can glide or it swings. The glide is more broad and calming where the swing is standard. The swing also has a mobile with toys which are just far enough up the baby wont be reaching up and pulling them down yet gives the baby something to look at while swinging back and forth. The swing has a dial so you can control the speed and folds away for easy storage. The swing is also a decent size so that you can put it almost anywhere and it not take up a huge amount of space. I would recomend this life saver to anyone I ever came across! Having had 4 kids I can say that the swing is almost more important that anything else you "need" to buy so be sure and put one on the baby shower list!

This fisher price swing was a lifesaver for me and my husband. When we had our son he slept in this swing so peacefully. It has two settings glide, and swing. We used the glide when he was littler as it is a gentler action than swinging. The music was a plus as our son enjoyed it. It soothed him as he glided. The option for battery was nice, but the plug in option allows you to save money on batteries as well as not worring about batteries dieing. As our son grew to be twenty-five plus pounds it held nim great. Also at this time we switched it to swing. It pretty much was a pacifier for our son. The mobile was good to as it gave him something to look at while swinging himself to sleep. This is a definate must have in my book. It also has a tray on it so you can give your child toys and or snacks while playing in it. I wouldn't trade it for anything  in the world. It has made our life a lot easyier.

We didn't get a swing for our baby shower and suffered through the first few weeks without one. Finally we decided to buy one to see if it would calm our son down from his many crying fits. It worked! I wish we had gotten a swing sooner.When I went swing shopping, the main thing I wanted was a swing that could be plugged into the wall. I didn't want to be changing batteries all the time. That was the main reason I bought this swing.Now that I own the swing the swing, the other features I like are that it adjusts from swinging to gliding and there are two reclining positions. When the baby is still tiny, the swinging motion sometimes seems too extreme. the gliding motion is much more gentle. As my son got older and stronger, I switched back to swinging and he could enjoy the swing longer.
