This chair was given to us as a hand me down. Both of my children have loved playing with this chair from the time they could crawl to about 3 years old. The little book flips easily for little ones and it plays songs to go along with it, which is very entertaining. The seat also has a sensor pad in it so when the child sits down, it starts playing music. When the lamp is tapped, it also changes the music. It is the perfect size for little ones who are just learning to walk to sit down and stand up easily from it. I'm not sure how much one of these costs new, but our used one as a gift was so welcome. It is still in my house for when little ones come to visit from our friends. As my four year old has shown me, it comes in handy as a small stool although I don't recommend that because it can be a bit unstable. The variety of songs is very nice and catchy. It is very well made and durable. We love it!

My now 19 month old received this chair as a first birthday gift. He actually stopped opening gifts to sit and play with this! Its been great fun ever since! This toy works well during quiet time play, as it isn't too loud an encourages reading. My little guy likes to pull a book from the shelf, sit in his chair and "read" his book.I only ever had one downfall - I had to make sure the toy was turned off before going to bed. My cat liked to sleep in the chair at night. However, when she would climb into the seat, music would start to play -- "When you're up you're up and when you're down you're down...." Needless to say, everyone in the house would wake up startled!! But it was easily solved.A great toy! One I would definitely recommend!!

My little one got this as a birthday present, and it has been a favorite toy for a long time. Every mom knows a toy their kid actually plays with should get a review. How many toys does your kid have that rarely get used, especially around the 1-2 yr age? Mostly they just want mommy to play with them, anything else is just baggage. Well not "The Chair". From the moment it was opened it was a favorite. It has an adorable little lamp, that lights up by itself and with a button. When you sit down, it pushes down this sensor so it starts singing and making music "magically"! It also has a cute little book with several pages. Every time you flip the page it sings and makes noises, and the "crayons" can be pushed up and down at will. Everything about this little chair is fun to tiny tots. When my daughter finally got too big, we passed it on to a young friend. Her mom happily informed me her daughter loved it as much as mine, and agreed 100% that Fisher Price got this one right. Go buy it!

FIsher price sing and song chair is nice toy.We bought it long time ago, but it is still in the perfect shape.Maybe 4 ago ago.But our second kid is now playing with it,I know it is dangerous, but she likes not to sit on it, but to stand and jump.And it sings.I like that face of the chair.It has a big smile allways , when the kids looks at it.:)Me too.The lamp is small and cute too.Our lamp doesnot work now more.We do not know how to change lamp, but is is still nice, I would buy it sgain.I remember that the price was so low, that i wanted to buy and one for my friend's family.The chair sings, when kid sits on it too.My daughter sometimes justlikes to sit on it and to rest.And sometimes she reads the book:)I like those Fisher Price smily faces on every toy. so thank  you Fisher Price inventors, disigners and builders.You know what kids like:)And parents too, because we are those who "take care"about theirs "taste".

We bought this for our daughters first birthday.  She LOVES it!  It is very enteraining and has many different ways for the child to interact.  My daughter plays with this for hours at a time.  We had to buy a second one so that she could have it at grandmas house!  She loves how the lamp lights up with three different colors(red, green and yellow).  There is a cool little book on the table next to the light that when you turn the page on one setting it will say, "the doggie says woof woof", the kitty says meow meow, and so on.  If you sit on it it will tell you that you are on the chair and when you get off it will tell you that you are off the chair.  It will also play music when you sit on it.  The clock on the table next to the light and book also play music when you change the time.  There are so many things that this chair does!!  I would reccomend this toy to all of my friends that have children.  I wish that we had bought it for our daughter sooner!

I have to admit, when I first saw this chair advertised nearly five years ago I thought it looked like a waste of money, just another toy to take up space and rarely get used.  Then my then one-year-old and I would go on playdates and he would play with this chair for the entire time.  Finally, I decided to get one for him.  He has outgrown it now, but his little sister loves the chair just as much.  It's a very interactive little toy.  You can choose from music or learning modes and it will sing or talk depending on your selection (it also has the very important OFF mode!).  It makes music when the child sits down, when she turns the pages of the little plastic "book," changes the clock, and when she presses the lamp.  The lamp changes color as well.  There is also a little nook next to the book which both of my kids used as a snack holder.  I'm not sure if that is the intended purpose or not, but they sure thought it was!

We used this chair to work on teaching our son to stand from the sitting posistion.  It also helped him stabilize his core when sitting. He LOVES his chair.  Now my son is two and his little six month sister fight over it!

I bought this chair thinking that my (then) 9 month old wouldn't be ready for it yet.  My husband tried it out that evening and my son loved it!  1.5 months later it is still his favorite toy. My 2 year old nephew is also fascinated by it.   He loves to turn the light on and off and sit in the chair like a big boy.  This is the toy we usually put him on if I need to put him down and he wants to be held.  He loves it that much!  Sometimes we turn the chair off so he can sit in it and do another activity.  He likes to sit in it while drinking his bottle or sippy cup too.   The chair has a pressure button when baby sits down, and says "You're on the chair".  The light is a touch lamp that turns on/off and tells baby what color it is.  There is a clock that rings and announces the time, and a book that my son loves to page through that barks for the dogs, meows for the cat, etc.  He loves to sit and climb all over it.

I really like this product fun songs, cute light, and a fun little chair to sit in.  However, one side is much heavier then then other and the toy falls over easily.  I wish the manufacture woud have thought of this and weighted the other side too instead of just the one. Due to this design I would not reccomend this toy to people with children who are still cruising.  This toy will fall over when the child tries to lean on it for support. However, as a child is able to stand up and walk on their own this toy would be perfect and fun.
