Wow. My twenty month old LOVES this Fisher-Price Power Wheels Lil Kawasaki Boy's Sport Quad. My mother-in-law got it for him for Valentines Day. She likes to use all the holidays as a reason to spoil him. = ) My son loves being outdoors anyway, but since he got the Power Wheels he is especially happy out there. My MIL said that the weigh limit is 40 pounds so hopefully that will last a good while for him. She says that she wishes she had gotten one with a regular wheel instead of the handle bars, but maybe they will train him for the day he gets a tricycle. There is no reverse, so if he runs into something he has to get off and push it around to be able to ride it again. The battery had to charge for 18 hours before it's first use. It's understandable, but it was sad when he wanted to use it right away, but had to wait an extra day. In hind sight I would have hidden it until it was ready to ride. A lesson in patience isn't bad either though.

This is a great starter quad for you little one.  The foot rests are a little small so I think my son will outgrow it very quickly.  It only goes 2mph which is nice for a 1year old.  Another think that would be useful is if it had a safety so that it would not go unless it was sat on.  My son has pushed the button to make it go a couple times while trying to climb on it which could be dangerous if it went faster.  It makes for great fun and great for teaching them to stear it and make it go the direction they want.  Weight wise it is nice so that if you have to pick it up and cary it, it does not weigh a ton.  The seat is easy to remove and the battery is very easy to charge and seems to last a good amount of time.  We charged it when we first got it and he has used it several times and we have not had to recharge it yet.  Not sure the life of the batter though if that goes down as it get older though.

This little four wheeler is a great novelty toy for little guys.  I have 18 month old toddler twin boys.  They are very different children and one of my guys is in LOVE with this toy while my other little guy is still a little wary of it.  There is not really any educational value to this toy but it great 'for the fun of it'!  My husband and I tend to overindulge our boys as far as toys go so we have a huge selection of things for them to choose from.  My Aidan goes for this every time.  It is super easy one button operation and the battery stays charged for a really long time.  The only difficulty we have had with these (we have 2) is not a problem with the toy itself.  Our problem is that our house has all hardwood floors and we decided to let them use these inside for the winter months until it's warm enough to take them outside, the wheels don't have enough traction to run on our floors.  My husband wrapped the wheels with electrical tape for traction and since then it has worked just fine.

Purchased the Fisher-Price Power wheels boys sport quad for my grandson for christmas. The quad was fairly easy to put together. After fully charging battery my grandson has been constantly riding it and the has kept charge. I wish it would have come with a seat belt and some way to set the speed. But over all great quad and for the price (65)  it was worth it.

I got this for my son on his first birthday! I though at the time that he might be just a little young for it but he figured the button out right away. His whole thing is at that age he was scared to ride it but loved to push the button and run into my walls. Now, he is almost two and rides it up and down the yard. He has quite figured out the stearing but I have a feeling that is coming soon. It is made very well and I have yet to charge the battery. It is very durable since my little son had definatly put it threw the ringer. It only goes about 2 miles per hour which is good for mommy, yet is still fun for them. It seems to be very weight porportionate since he hasn't fallen off it or have had it tip on him. The front opens up so your little one can store all sorts of goodies and whatever they find and take it with them. My son loves this because now he can be like his big brother who has a real four wheeler and I dont freak out because it is made just for his size.

My son got this for Christmas when he was around 18 months old. His uncle has a real 4wheeler and my son thinks it's the coolest thing in the world. So when he got his own, he was so happy. He rides it all over the house [we have a pretty open floor layout] and loves to take it outside. The battery stays charged for a long time, and it charges fast when it does run out of juice! My son is now 2 1/2 and he STILL loves the thing, and now his sister is old enough to play too, they love to take turns and sometimes they both get on together and ride. I love that it goes a low speed, less worry for mommy! I do wish it wasnt quite so loud, but I guess all kids got to have at least one loud annoying toy! It does take up a bit of space when not in use. However, I would still bu this for my child if I hadn't already, it keeps my kids occupied for hours. They love being able to control it themselves, I think it promotes independence!

This was a Christmas/Birthday gift for our youngest Grandson, he turned 2 on December 20th 2009. Grandson/Mommee/Grammee/Papa all watched patiently as daddee put this amazing toy together.. what a quick and easy process.. both daddee and birthday boy enjoyed the quick set-up. Our Grandson got on the quad, with no instructions whatsoever, pushed the button and took right off.. his first drive was amzing to ALL of us!! he did not falter, it was like he had been riding it for day.. what a wonderful toy for both daddee and the youngest son.. daddee and both of the older brothers (6 & 9) have REAL quads. We must have the smartest grandson around.. or could it possibly be, this is definitely a toddler friendly toy!! Daddee and his siblings also grew up with all the wonderful Fisher Price toys.. Farm, School, Plane and many more.. Thanks Fisher-Price, for years of immense pleasure for this OLD Lady!!
