Best Walking Toy Out There!

5

This is the best walking toy! We had bought one before this one and my daughter would fall backwards and hurt herself. This walking toy is so stable. A few weeks with this toy and she was walking on her own no problem! Plus now that she is older she loves to ride on it. She really enjoys the lights and music. She has learned to get on and off of it. As well as how to ride it pushing forward and backwards.

Makes my sone smile

5

Every time I push the buttons on this, my son comes running and smiling! He loves it! He got it for his 1st birthday....loved it then and still loves it at 18 months. He loves pushing the buttons and clapping his hands...he gets so excited! He still doesn't get the concept of sitting and riding....just starting to be able to sit and rock backwards, but he'll catch on soon enough. Even without being able to use it what I would call "properly", he plays with it the way he chooses and loves it just the same. He will even come to me to turn it on when it's shut off. Even my 3.5 yr old loves riding it! Very sturdy to be able to hold him at 51 lbs...and has taken tons of tons of abuse and keeps on going. Easy to change from ride to walking toy. Definately a buy toy....it's fun and cute and holds my little guys attention!

Stride-to-Ride Dino grows with my little guy.

5

I really like the Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Stride-to-Ride Dino because it has grown with my little guy as he has gotten older. I got this for him when he was about 10 months old and just starting to toddle around. It was so nice that he had something nice and stable to hold onto. It went more slowly than some other walker type toys, which is great for a new walker. Other ones kind of got away from him. The handles were at just the right height. He loved to make the lights and music work and eventually figured out he could do so by pushing the light up spikes. Now that he fifteen months, he still loves playing with the dino. He is starting to use it as a ride on toy, pushing himself all around our house. I love the fact it is extra long because his big sister loves to get on it with him. It was so easy to assemble out of the box. I did it all without my husband! Just needs a basic screwdriver. And batteries!

Great toy!

So far my son likes the stride to ride dino. It was a toy we purchased for Christmas. He has one other walking toy, but it does not turn into  a rideable toy. I like this, it seems durable, bright and fun. It plays music which isn't too loud or obnoxious. The speed seems to be perfect for my son. Other toys seem to go much faster, but this one is a great pace. My son is afraid of the riding part. When we turn it into a bike to ride he cries, so I think this will take a little more time for him to get used to. Overall I think it is a great for him and I am quite sure he will learn to like the bike. It is very sturdy which I was pleased with and I think the triangular design makes it easier for him to walk. His hands are spread our further than with normal toys that help babies learn to walk. I also really like the large wheels, my son is fascinated with anything that has wheels. His favorite thing to do is turn the bike upside down and spin the wheels.

Great walking AND ride on toy!

5

My almost 2 year old child has this toy and she absolutely loves it! My child was already walking pretty well on her own when we received it but we did try it out as a walking toy for a little bit and I would say that it is far superior to the other walking toy we had that tipped over very easily. The way this one is designed is almost in a tripod shape and prevents it from tipping over. As a riding toy it is so much fun! My child rides it all around the house and because the wheels are made of a rubbery material it does well on all types of floor surfaces. The dino spikes on the top of the head light up in different colors and blink along with fun music that my child loves. This toy has held up very good so far and I think that it would stand up well over the test of time.

ride and walk toy

This a fun toy for my 14-month-old. The bumps on the back of the neck light up and different sounds and music play when you press one down. She likes to dance when the music starts playing. It also makes sound and music when you walk with it or ride on it. the legs come together to form a seat and my daughter likes it that way even though she still walks with it and doesn't ride on it yet. She gets very upset if I try to turn it back into the walker instead of a ride on toy! I think it's because she likes to put things on the seat and "drive" them around LOL It does go a little fast sometimes and if she's not paying attention, it'll slip out from under her and she'll fall and startle herself, but that's the same with any toy and it only happens once or twice a week. Also, if it helps you make a decision, we've had this toy for about 3 months now and the batteries are still going strong :)

Hesitant walker? Stride-to-Ride Dino is the Answer.

The Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Stride-to-Ride Dino is a great toy for the unenthusiatic walker. My 1 year old is lazy when it comes to walking and we've tried many different toys to get him to walk. So far, they are either too hard to push and he ends up just standing there, or they move to easily and he panics and faceplants. This one is perfect (on carpet. On tile it does move too quickly for him). Another problem with other toys is that they are either too entertaining and he focuses on playing instead of walking, or they're too boring and he soon abandons them for other toys (told you he's lazy). This toy has music and lights that come on when you start walking and at the press of a button so it's not on all the time but keeps him focused on this toy and walking. I'm so glad we found this toy so that I can teach him how to walk. I'm also excited for when he's older we can turn it into a riding toy. We're definitely going to get a lot of mileage out of this dino.

The best ride on toy out there!

I am in love with the Fisher Price Go Baby Go! Stride-to-Ride Dino. We were given this toy by Fisher-Price to sample with our children and with other little friends. Every baby loved it, from the walkers to the little cruisers. I have had several stand up and push toys for my children as they have learned to walk. This is the first one we have ever had that moves slow enough and sturdy enough for our little ones. My son seemed totally confident about standing up and pushing his little Dino. I also love that this toy grows with your child. Now that my son is sixteen months old he enjoys riding on it. His big sister, who is three and heavy, can also comfortably ride on it. It plays cute music too that can easy be turned off or turned down in volume, a must with any toy! I would totally buy this toy for my child again over any of the other push and ride toys in the market. It is completely worth the money and I see it lasting for at least several more little ones to come.

Cute but big

We received this as a free gift from Fisher Price and think it is totally cute.  We didn't receive it until after my daughter was already walking. She is not interested in us switching it over so that she can walk behind it but she is interested in riding on it.  The dinosaur makes cute noises and lights up.  She doesn't play with it often, but from time to time she will get on it and ride it.  For the price that it is being sold out, I don't think it's worth it but I haven't used it to teach my child to walk either.  For an older child that already has mastered walking, it is not much more than a fun ride on toy, which does make it a little bit expensive.  It is certainly cute and well made and was very easy to assemble.  I would consider buying this as a baby gift for a friend or family member with a much younger child.  Great colors though - bright green and purple and a cute little song that plays as well.

Great for new walkers!

My son loves his dino.  We started sitting him on it before he could even crawl.  He eventually rode on it by himself until he started trying to walk.  We are now using it to walk behind.  He loves banging on dino's head to make noise and see the lights!
