I have had 2 of my babies use this and they've both taken to it more than most of their other toys and mats. The positioning of the toy arch provides them the ease to see and grab the toys from a very young age, helping with motor skills and hand/eye coordination. It promotes leg movement once the child realizes music will play once they kick. The toys are a good mix of textures and sounds. Now my baby can sit and play the music with the turnable piano piece. If I were to have any complaints, it's only that I wish the mat itself was a little thicker, for more comfort when put on hardwood floors.

My son LOVES this Grow Kick & Play Piano Gym! He loved tummy time and playing with the hanging animals and kicking the piano when he was young. Now that he's older, we've removed the arch and he sits and plays with the piano while sitting. His 5 year old sister even enjoys playing with it from time to time! We've had this play gym for close to 2 years now and it's still in great shape. The batteries have never had to be replaced and all of the keys still work, the durability of this product is amazing, especially since I have a very rough 2 and 5 year old that play with it on a consistent basis. To make things even better, it's fairly easy to pack up and take with us so he can play with is on the go. I don't plan on putting this away any time soon. This was definitely money well spent and I would recommend this to any expecting mom and even moms with babies that are a little older! At this price, how can you say no to such a great product?

My son loves playing with this gym set. I think he likes it the most when he kicks the piano keys and it plays the sounds, and while he's kicking making music he looks up at the animals hanging and trys to grab him. He just lays there for awhile kicking and cooing.

We introduced my daughter to this when she was about 8 weeks old and she adored it. It was fun watching her discover the cute animals that hang from the top bar. And when she discovered that she could play music by kicking the piano? She was overjoyed :) She would gaze at herself in the mirror and talk to her animal friends all while playing music for them....talk about multi-tasking!! I loved that we could also use it for tummy time. Since she hated tummy time being able to visit with, and chew on, her animal friends made the torture more bearable for her. The mat part detaches really easily to wash and there are no parts that I found annoying to clean. Sometimes toys have little nooks and crannies that can be hard to disinfect... not something you want when your baby is going to be putting it in their mouth repeatedly. My daughter is 2 now and still loves to play the piano on her gym!!

We got this as a gift and it is the cutest thing ever and encourages movement and activity. The little piano to kick at is a huge added bonus. The whole thing is well made and safe, and it seems like it will hold up for the long run. This is way better than other similar products we have owned with our other kids.

I bought this because it was on sale, two for one. I thought my baby really like it specially because she can have her tummy time, reach and kick and also sit up. The only thing that I do not like is that the hanging toys are a little to heavy. My baby hit her face with the lion and got a little bump :( I took the rattles away because I cannot see her get hurt with little toys. even tho she really likes them, she sits and plays with all the rattles and is so interested in the shape of the frog and elephant. Its colorful, and easy to clean pad. I wish the piano keys would light up like the two little butterflies, it would catch my babys attention more than it does now. this toys is most likely going to be put away soon since my baby now 6 months inst playing much with it.

The play mat is pretty nice. The best feature about it is that the piano at the end that they kick can be switched from vertical to horizontal positioning so it grows with them. There are plenty of things that your baby can grab and play with and there is even a small mirror that they can see themselves in though. The only complaint I have about this play mat is that there are no lights that the baby can see when they are laying down. Anyone with a kid knows that babies love lights and I felt that this really would have made the product better. If you can find a play mat with lights that they can also kick their feet on to make music that would be preferable but overall I would recommend this play mat. It has withheld the force of my two children, who were back to back and is holding up great. It is super easy to clean too. The bottom cloth part can be thrown in the wash and the rest, excluding the bar that holds the toys overhead, is all plastic. Also you can switch the bar to laying down flat which is good for tummy time.

They seem to get sick of everything else after a few weeks but we've had this for a month and a half and they still smile and get excited with this mat. They love looking at themselves in the mirror....they will stay intrigued for 20+ minutes!

This toy leads to hours of entertainment for my babies both my 2 year old and my 3 month old are completely entertained. The toddler loves to make the hanging objects move and the 3 month old loves the noise and bright colors. I can lay her one her tummy for tummy time and as soon as her feet hit the piano the fussing stops and she just keeps on kicking and loving it. My 2 years old even likes when she kicks the piano and tries to get her to do it more so he can dance to her music. Oh who am I kidding this play mat is entertainment for the whole family not just the baby. My husband and I can watch them for hours playing with the different activities on it. The piano the hanging toys that are each their own activity. We also use this mat to help my son with his learning of color and I know this is very stimulating to my three month old because she just looks and looks at all the details. Great investment!

This piano gym is our son's favorite toy. He has used it since about 3 months old (I wish we'd started him on it even earlier). He loved kicking the piano keys really hard, as he's always been an active little guy. He loves how he can make music play, and lights also light up in response to his kicks, which he loves watching. The gym is wonderful, as it can change as he grows, so now that he has been sitting up, we can turn the piano to upright, so he can play it over his lap. The toy bar also can move so he can play with them differently. The toys on the bar are fantastic, and we've been so amused as he has had long conversations with the animals on the toy bar. He has learned how to take them off (they slide off the loops), and he likes being able to hold them. This is such a genius toy--we recommend it to every new parent!!
