Bought these tires 4 years ago for my wife's Toyota yaris and have used them every winter. We live in New England and they have tackled everything thrown at them. Excellent for hilly driveways and slushy conditions. Not once has the car been stuck since purchase. They are very good at starting, stopping, and cornering in snowy conditions. On ice they are good and studs can be installed as an option which i imagine would only improve the ice performance. I have used the car to go skiing and it has done well on the NH back roads and in the snow and ice covered lots of the ski areas. Only down side is the spring warmth tends to wear the tires a little faster (but it's my understanding that is the case for all snow tires). The tires have between 12,000 and 15,000 miles on them and still have a few more seasons left at least. When in the market to replace these or buy snow tires for a future car i would buy these again.
