Bought my first one and within months it quit cutting; second one stopped lighting within months; bought third one while travelling; it barely cuts and won't light. Still out of town and since there's no email addy for them, wasted cell minutes only to be asked 3 times what the problem was and then told to take it to any similar retailer and ask them to exchange it without a receipt - AS IF! I told him from now on I would purchase their competitor.

I have been using the same Finishing Touch hair removal system for about three to four years now.  It is light, battery operated and pretty durable.  The length of the vertical blade is about half an inch.  It is safe to touch and can fit in any purse or makeup bag.  You can use this little machine for trimming facial hair including nose hair. My recommendation is that if you do use it in the nose use alcohol wipe to avoid collection of bacteria.  It uses micro-ocillation to remove the hair and is absolutely painless.  The new model has a pivoting head which allows for better access.  It also is has an eyebrow shaper and is lighted.  If you order it from their own site they apparently include a lighted five times magnification mirror with it.  The product comes with a thirty day money back guarantee.  I like the fact that the product is cordless but it would have been better if it had a charger.  Extra batteries are not included.

The Finishing Touch is just that.  It puts that little extra into cleaning up your brows or wisking away baby fine facial hair.  Great for that upper lip and chin hair.  Cleans up eyebrows and any other unwanted hair.  Works wonders on bikini line and even on your arms if need be.  I  would recommend this product. Safe as it won't cut you and you can use it anywhere because it is battery operated.

This little trimmer is a wonderful alternative when you don't want or have time to tweeze. I use it frequently on all areas of my face. Easy to operate. Use just like a little delicate electric razor. Hair disappears. Small, lightweight size makes it easy to handle.No plugs is also a plus, since it's battery operated. The only thing i didn't particularly like was the fact that it's a little noisy. But that is easily overlooked when you think about the convenience. I would reccomend this product to anyone.

I bought the the Finishing Touch personal trimmer on impulse, hoping it would be an inexpensive alternative to waxing or plucking my eyebrows.  For that purpose, the trimmer is great.  But its usefulness ends there. The Finishing Touch personal trimmer is a quick, easy and painless way to remove that soft, "peach-fuzz" hair from your upper lip, chin or around the eyebrows.  Just glide the trimmer across your skin (opposite of hair growth), and brush away the unwanted hairs before you put the trimmer away.  The small size and shape, similar to a pen or tube of mascara, makes it easy to hold and transport. Unfortunately, the trimmer only works well on facial hair.  The Finishing Touch personal trimmer isn't recommended for large areas, but it does claim to work for coarse, dark hair -- not just the "peach fuzz" on your face.  When I tried it on coarser hair, however, the trimmer was useless. Other features like the illuminating light didn't meet expectations either.  The light was no better than my bathroom's overhead light, and it isn't aimed in a useful direction anyway.  Plus, I would never carry it with me for "quick touch-ups away from home" - this thing is too noisy to use in a public bathroom!
