I'm not a HUGE candy fan, or sweets fan for that matter. But this one I tend to hoard and when I do get around to eating it, I can't stop myself. It's hard to find though! Which is a shame! The flavors don't taste artificial. You can also find this flavor in the multi packs of Ferrero Rocher but you don't get as many. I've found them easier to find in the multi packs, especially around the holidays. Shame on you Ferrero Rocher for not making these more easily available! This almond coconut treat has made my #1 favorite candy list. Which is pretty darn hard to do, actually, since I don't like much candy. If you can find this product in stores, it makes a really excellent high quality gift that's not too expensive. They're cutely wrapped in aluminum foil. Much better alternative to store brand chocolate or those chocolate cherry cordials that people commonly buy around the holidays.

I stumbled upon the Ferrero Rocher Raffaello Almond Coconut Treats in the supermarket a few years ago. I am a huge fan of the traditional Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut chocolates, so I had to try these! They come in an attractive red and white packaging and pack just as good of a taste as they look! If you're a coconut or white chocolate lover, you must try these! They have flakes of coconut on the outside, as well as white chocolate. You bite into them and get the awesome white chocolate and almond center. The texture is magnificent. Be careful though, they are highly addictive!

 I  love chocolate treats and will rarely eat treats that are non-chocolate... but my uncle changed all that when he bought me a non-chocolate treat for Christmas. I was given a box of Raffaello Almond Coconut treats that came in a pretty 5.3oz  white box shaped like a Chinese take out carton with a red ribbon.. Ooo"  it appeared special and the small individual wrapped candies looked good. Now.. it is always a good thing in my book to eat your dinner first, before you indulge in something sweet... at least that is what my mother told me as a kid...But now grown I can break the rules but I paid for it later on in the day. I unwrapped the small package and studied the small coconut ball for a moment...."This looks good.. but, looks like one of those candies that are sweet as the devil"  Then I popped it in my mouth..  A unique ball of crunchy wafer, crispy coconut and a creamy sweet center is mat by a single whole almond in the middle.. mmmmm!.  I liked the creamy coconut taste and the crunchy sensation, but my suspicions were right about the sweetness...The creamy center was a little too sweet for my taste, but the textures of the crispy coconut, crunchy wafer and almond was just right!. and I shamefully found myself consuming the entire box before I had breakfast, lunch or dinner! ! ...ooo..ouch! ! ! I guess one can have pure pleasure with-out chocolate.. the Raffaello Ferrero Almond coconut candy made a believer out of me. So if you like wafers, nuts, coconut and cream you got to give it a try.... Its unique.. yummy and fun to it.
