We did a few years of research on what we would use to replace our vinyl floor in our kitchen.  Because of the construction of our floors and the movement and unevenness of them, we decided that a laminate floor would be best than hardwood or ceramic.  I did not like most of the fake wood laminates since they did not look real,esp. with the grouting, and looked too shiny.  What I really wanted was a fake stone look but had a hard time finding something that looked nice enough to resemble ceramic.  I finally found a product from Faus Floors that looked like a stone walkway and fell in love with it.  I did tons of research and found that it was fairly new so there wasn't years of experience with this floor.  We found a retailer that sold and installed the floors and asked for references from previous customers and everyone loved this floor. We bought it and have had it in since March of 2010 and so far, love it.  It looks so real!  It is easy to clean and people who see it for the first time have to look closely as they think it is real tile. It also comes with the underlay so you don't have to purchase it separately or install seperately.  I would definitely recommend.
