I had never heard of this product until I was looking for different cat toys on amazon one day. The reviews were very positive, so I took a chance. It's a very cute mat, really adorable. It seems to be very well crafted, and has stood the test of time so far. My cat absolutely loves to spend time on this. Sometimes he just hangs out on it, napping or taking a bath, but other times he smells the catnip in it and goes a little bit crazy, rolling around on it, or biting the fabric. The fabric has not torn, which is saying a lot, because my cat can be very rough on his toys. Whenever my cat seems to lose interest in it, I simply add a little fresh catnip inside the zippered pouch, and he thinks it's a brand new toy again. I would say it's probably a little overpriced for the size of it (I was expecting it to be much larger than it actually is), but all in all, I would buy it again because my cat has gotten hours of enjoyment out of it. I would recommend it for cats and kittens of all ages!

This product is so good. It's good to see our cat have such a riot of a time with this thing. He loves it. He smacks at it, rolls on it, and runs around it. It certainly keeps him busy and it's a very well made catnip holder. I would say it's a little expensive, but it's refillable, and it is durable. So no complaints, just good things to say about it. I also think it's safe to use, too. We're never had any bad incidents with it.

This is the simplest product around, yet my cats just love it! I actually had to get a second one so each cat could have their own! It's a very simple product, basically a tiny blanket filled with a thin layer of catnip. It doesn't really do anything that a human can see, but apparently there is something incredibly exciting for cats since my cats thick they are too exciting and refuse to share. I love that they are washable as well since they do build up a nice layer of cat hair rather quickly when the cats roll on them and sleep on them for long periods of time. You just need to remove the catnip bit before it goes in the washer. Fat Cat makes excellent quality products and I would not hesitate to buy from them again. A third or even fourth mat would certainly be welcomed by my furry babies! They would also make an awesome gift for the special kitty or kitty parent in your life! I highly recommend these!

I bought one boogie mat for my 2 cats to share...what a mistake...I had to go buy a 2nd one.  The cats follow me around the house, and when I'm in the kitchen, where their boogie mats are located, they each make a beeline for a mat and lay down to watch me.  It would be nice to have a choice of a bigger mat...my 2 cats are Ragdolls, and being such big cats, they hang off the sides of the mat.  They aren't really bothered about the catnip feature of the mat, they just like their own place to laydown.

I just purchased one of these Boogie Mats in an adorable Christmas design. I like to include my cats in my home decorating, so they have their own stockings, and now their own Christmas-themed Boogie Mat! I have four cats with four very distinct personalities, and all four of them love the Boogie Mat. The catnip must be very strong, because my kitties found the mat as soon as I put it out, and they started rubbing on it and sniffing it right away. They almost "fought" over it at first -- each one wanted to take a turn!Now, the mat is in a place of honor in the living room, and it's a rare moment when a cat isn't lying on it, rolling around, sniffing, pawing and generally having a great time. My cats love this product, and I'm very happy with its sturdiness, bright colors and very cute design.

These are brightly-colored fabric mats, which have a zippered opening where you can insert catnip. It'll come with a small bag of catnip, but you can also add your own brand. I bought two for my two cats; they really enjoyed them -- they'd rub themeslves all over it, scramble underneath and otherwise make adorable fools of themselves! After the catnip had worn off; they'd still lie on the mats. Adorable designs, very sturdy construction, the only flaw would be the inner cushion padding - it's made of a rather thin and low-quality foam, which eventually gets rather dirty with the old catnip, as you keep refilling it. It might be better to use cushiony padding that's washable. Not too expensive, but a nice way to treat your cats!

**I bought a fat cat boogie refillable catnip mat for each of my cats and they love them. They are so cute and they all  absolutely love them.  It is cool that you can replace the catnip. Also I put treats in my one cat that doesnt like catnip as much and he loves it. They use them as a bed. Its a bed and toy all in one. They absolutely love the tassles. They are colorful and look in just about any room. A great way to show that you are a cat lover. They also collect hair that would be on your couch if it wasnt their. I wash them once a week and they have lasted really good. It is one toy that you will definately want to get your catnip loving cat. They also love to play with their other fat cat toys on it. A really good deal to make your cats feel like they are in kitty heaven. They seem to like these better or at least as good as expensive pet beds. They are also very easy to wash. Easy fro travel, they fit in bigger cat carriers. Also if you have a cat stroller they love them in their too. Very wonderful way to keep your cat relaxed traveling and very lightweight.**

Got this for the first cat that was all mine. He had a head for catnip, which I stuffed into this thing and then put on a heated dog bed for him. He LOVED it. It's where he hung out all day waiting for me to get home. He's passed on, but the cats that have filled my life with love and joy also really dig it; the little one plays with the tassels while the bigger one rolls around with her face against the pad. They both sleep on it together, too.

I am not overly surprised that my cats lost interest in this.  Cats are like that - you can buy them a high end feather-filled, catnip-enriched pet bed and they will still curl up two feet away from it in an old pear box with some twine that's too small for them. However, until the catnip wore off, I did rather enjoy watching my cats roll around on top of the Boogie mat.  The mat itself isn't anything really impressive - it's just a mat with catnip in it.  My cats actually responded to a hand towel I accidentally spilled catnip on in exactly the same way.  However, the Boogie mat is an awful lot cuter and it doesn't cause quite as much of a mess. Honestly, the mat was a little expensive for what it is, especially now that my cats are ignoring it for reasons only cats can understand.  I've refilled the catnip in it and set it out, but at the moment it is just an adorable little floor accent.

My cat absolutely loves the fat cat boogie mat refillable catnip mat! She goes crazy over it. From the minute I brought it home she was all over the bag! She wanted to see what was in there because she could already smell it through the bag. She will roll around on the mat for what seems like hours on end. It is easy to refill it and I thought it was a good price for what you get. The only thing I am unsure of is if it could be washed or not. After kitty rolling around on it a lot it gets kinda gross! But I have definetely recommended this to all of my friends and family that have cats. My mom just got one for her kitties and she said they love it so much they hardly ever leave it!
