I live in northern Indiana and drive a 2010 Honda Civic. We have pretty severe driving conditions in the winter - lots of snow and ice. I have Falken ZE-912 all-weather tires on my car. They are terrible on snow and ice. There is not enough tire grip for our winter driving conditions. With these tires, I get stuck in my own driveway, slide through stop signs, and skid all over the road. I can't drive more than 20 - 23 MPH on snow and ice. There is not enough tire traction on snow and ice to make these safe for driving in wintery conditions. The tires are just fine in warm weather. The traction is good on dry conditions, and I've never had a problem with them in rainy weather.They are pretty quiet - no complaints with road noise. I have about 21,000 miles on the tires, and the tread is still very good. But, I will not keep them on my car through another winter. My recommendation is to avoid Falken ZE-912 all-weather tires if you expect to drive much on snow or ice.
