Good for beginners.

I do like this magazine; however, overall I feel it's best for young people and beginners to the exercise world. Most of the recipes are extremely basic, and while healthy, not that interesting or flavorful. The recipes also use a lot of processed foods. The exercises start to cycle through again and again are often not the most challenging. The good thing is that many exercises can be done with body weight or minimal equipment at home. They do have some good exercises from guest trainers. For example, there was a section on trx, a suspension training band, some with Jillian michaels, etc. They also have videos of exercise series online which I like a lot (the one thing that really sets them apart from other fitness magazines). A big plus for this magazine is that most of the content can be accessed for free on the internet. I also like that they have a lot of before and after stories as I think they are great for motivation. If you are a more serious athlete try women's health or fitnessrx.

like having my own personal trainer

Fitness Magazine is great! I feel like I have my own personal trainer when I flip through this magazine. This magazine always has a fit celebrity on the cover and when you read the magazine you can find out how the celebrity achieves their fit physique. There are articles that cover every body part imaginable and how to best tone that body part. I have learned so many excellent fitness tips from simply reading this magazine. What is also great about Fitness magazine is that it does not exclusively cover fitness tips but also what foods to eat to help you lose weight and nourish your body. Weight loss and developing a fit body is a combination of working out and eating healthy and Fitness magazine recognizes this by offering tips and tricks on both. Fitness Magazine is perfect for all women looking to lose weight and tone up their body but do not know how.

Renew your Mind, Body + Spirit in about an hour!

Fitness Magazine is the perfect combination of articles and activities to stimulate your mind, body and spirit. As a matter of fact, "Mind, Body + Spirit" is the part of their magazine title! Each magazine is jam-packed with articles on fitness, health, and nutritional ideas that are reasonable, fun, and usable. I like to sit down with each new issue and skim it cover to cover, marking the pages I plan to come back to for more in-depth reading. Models look healthy and fit, not anorexic. The focus is on good health, not tiny bodies. You will find a well-balanced mixture of tasty, healthy recipes, reader success stories, fitness product tests (DVDs, equipment, beauty products.) Fashion articles feature healthy models wearing reasonably priced outfits. The most recent issue featured skin care articles and fitness plans you can try out at home, or at the gym. There are often links to freebies like music downloads or skincare samples. Each month features online giveaway contests, too. At $16.97 for two years (20 issues) that's money well spent. (And, if you keep your eyes and ears open, you'll often find online subscription deals for even less!)

Fitness is my number one Health magazine.

Fitness magazine has always been my number one fitness source. It is afforable, informative, and up-to-date.I have a subscription that I am very grateful for.I recommend this magazine to everyone looking for simple easily explained steps.Real trainers, dieticians, and doctors partake and comment on health issues in this Fitness magazine.I have not seen many coupons though.I wish it offered more coupons and a crossword puzzle. There are alot of stories to read and uplifting weight loss successes. The text is an appropriate size for any reader. Some magazines have such tiny fonts you can barely read them.I has a little bit of everything.Weekly menus, recipies, remedies.Fitness magazine offers a little bit for everyone's health questions. It is a wonderfully informative magazine and will remain one of my subscriptions for a very long time.I hope I have convinced you of how supreme a magazine Fitness is.Go buy one and check it out for yourself.

This is my favorite fitness magazine!

Fitness Magazine is well organized and well written. The articles are excellent for all levels of fitness. The magazine is cheap and offers renewal of 3 for the price of 1 so you can give two subscriptions to your friends/family. I gave them as gifts to my two running partners. The articles aren't too long and the magazine itself is a quick read. I usually read it within a few hours of receiving it and then leave it at work for my coworkers to enjoy. There are a few ads, but not so many its overpowering.

Wonderful and informative

Fitness Magazine not only has a great Magazine, but also a fantastic daily email which includes 3 main stores, all tied together, a daily give away, and a recipe of the day. Everything is clear cut and easy to view and the site is interesting. A reader of the magazine for several months now, the daily e-letter is just as informative without the clutter of ads.

A keeper!

This magazine is one that you will want to keep and reread over and over. Each issue of this monthly magazine offers articles for your "Mind, Body and Spirit". There are articles on Beauty, health, nutrition as well. There are a lot of advertisements, but there are plenty of good reads! They give you reviews on many products and offer tasty recipe's. There are even makeup tips and clothing tips! There is a fitness question and answer section that is very helpful. There is always a section that gives you an exercise program that is easy to follow, always with pictures. Would recommend for someone starting out in an exercise program as I was or for any level of fitness as there is always good tips and advice to be found.

Fitness Magazine - Read it as soon as one day of receiving!

I love this magazine!  I have been a Fitness magazine subscriber for years!  There are so many helpful tips.  The success stories are so encouraging.  It totally connects you to others and makes you feel like you are not the only one going through whatever it is that you are going through.  The great thing is that is isn't all about 'exercise'.  It touches so much about 'health'!  There are great recipes...including making the old unhealthy favorites into delicious guilt free meals.  You get great tips on where to take and active vacation.  Tips on great books to keep you mind healthy.  I love it when they do reviews on products.  Actually, FINALLY picked the right walking shoes after reading their extensive reviews for the type of activity and shape/step of my foot was determined.  Spot lights on advocacy groups and broadens your thinking outside of your town.  Every edition is full of useful information and I can't wait for it to arrive monthly!

Gets a little redundant once you've subscribed for awhile...

... but, I do enjoy it. There are good exercises for both the gym and at home. The recipes are wonderful, as are the meal plans. I just re-subscribed after a 1 year hiatus - I couldn't find another women's fitness magazine that I enjoyed as much (at that was after checking out Shape and Health, amoung others).

Never lets you down

Fitness Magazine is one of the few magazines that actually has useful information within it's pages. There are so many types of fitness and health magazines out that readers have so much to choose from. Fitness Magazine always has great tips and new exercises to try. I am always seeing something new in Fitness Magazine, unlike most of the same ole' stuff.
