Great compact double stroller

4

I love my evenflo double stroller. Compact enough to fit in the trunk of our small car. The only way I can get my two small kids out and about for walks. Its very sturdy. Only con is its heavier than it looks. Not really such a big deal because its lighter than most double strollers on the market.

Easy to use, not too durable

I did not actually buy my Evenflo CitiTour Double stroller. I recieved two of them from friends of a friend. The first one's back wheels were so worn out they were no longer firmly attached, but wobbled and rubbed on the frame. When I called for replacements I was told that I could get the entire back axle assembly, but it was backordered indefinitely, and the color would not match. So I left it sitting. Then I got the second stroller, which had good wheels, but the child's snack tray on the front would not latch properly anymore, as well as several other moving parts that were broken. So I ended up taking the good wheels from the second one and putting them on the first one. That was easy to do, as they just clip in and out of the frame. i cleaned it up and voila! A whole stroller! It is big and bulky, but surprisingly easy to maneuver. It rides well and my kids think it's a blast. I offered it to my cousin, but now I'm not so sure I want to give it up! HOWEVER, I don't think it's worth the price that it sells for, but I sure got a good deal on it. ***Update*** I am still using this stroller, usually with my 30lb 2 year old and 20lb 1 year old in it. It is still pretty nice to push around, considering its bulk. I pushed it around our zoo this week for 6 hours! Boy was that ever a workout! The front seat snack tray is permanently messed up and will not latch in the proper position, but so far the wheels are holding out. I am following the manufacturer's recommendations and putting the heaviest child in the front (I assume this reduces wear on those weak rear wheels) but that doesn't seem to be the most sensible seating arrangement. Oh well, I got a zoo pass, so I'm keeping the stroller! It does fit well in the trunk of my Oldsmobile Aurora, scoots all the way back so I still have room for everything else. And it needs cupholders!!! And for the lower basket to open up on the back; you can't get into it if you have the seat reclined flat with a sleeping baby in it!

The Evenflo Cititour double stroller is a waste of money.

I purchased the Evenflo Cititour double stroller just before the arrival of my second child.  I researched for days the different strollers and chose this one.  My daughter was 3 and small for her age and I thought this would be the perfect stroller for the price.  I WAS WRONG!!!  It is big and heavy and very bulky.  I had to remove the parent's drink tray for it to fit in the trunk of my Chrysler - mid size car.  You cannot push it (to move it) when it is folded because the basket on the bottom prevents that.  It is also a nightmare to try to turn and doesn't manuver well at all.  It was used approximately 10 times on solid ground (no rough terrain) before one of both the front and back wheels came off while we were on an outing.  My husband and I ended up carrying our children, ages 4 and 11 months over a mile while trying to push that stroller on two wheels.  It is a waste of money and I would NEVER recommend anyone purchase this stroller.  I'm now in the market for another one and will NOT go with Evenflo.  If for some reason you still purchase this stroller let me give you some advise - pull the stroller in reverse before trying to fold it up because the latch that holds it together will not latch unless the front wheels are backwards.

This is a great stroller!

This evenflo stroller is the best stroller I have come across. It has all of the features of a standard stroller (easy to manuever, folds up for transport, isnt very heavy), with the super convenience of being a double stroller. It is great to be able to walk with both of my children at once, without needing help from several people!

this was a gift from my mother. She gave it to me when i got pregnant with my second child. i had a girl and was expecting a boy. the colors were good, very neutral and nice...  my mom did not pay alot for it.... (you get what you pay for)   we started using it in september when my son was one months old. he is now 3 months old.   it has already started falling apart. the rubber on the wheel comes off to easily, the tray in fron just broke one day... my daughter is only 15 months... so she could not have done anything to break it...  its hard to fold up...    i guess "they" ate right when they say YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

Horrible- Waste of money

I THINK THAT THIS STROLLER WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. IT DID WORK TO KEEP THE CHILDREN IN ONE SPOT BUT WAS HARD TO USE AND NOT FRIENDLY TO CUP HOLDERS OR SPACE FOR DIAPER BAGS COATS ETC ALL THE THINGS THAT MOMS HAVE TO HAVE ON THEM WHEN OUT. WAS HARD TO FIT IN BACK OF THE MINIVAN- NO SPACE FRIENDLY AT ALL.

Overall a great product for moms with a toddler and infant.

This is great for shopping, outdoor walking, and entertainment parks! The two cons I added- it is not built to support a newborn- my two month old needs an added head support like you would buy for car seats. Also, when the back seat is lowered (in a sleeping position), there is no space between it and the undercarrage basket. This means you have to wake up baby to change toddlers diaper! Bummer. But other than these two negatives, it turns easily and the wheels are good quality for outdoor walking, and it offers features my toddler needs to stay entertained, and my infant to be near me without adding his weight to my shoulders while I do what I need to do (shop, exercise, etc.).  I really love the dual stroller designed for two ages of children (not twins).
