THE CRAFTEST PERSON IN MY FAMILY        I am a self-taught sewer since I was 10 years old.  It all began when my mother decided to make my sister a dress.  The only problem she lost interest in the project and I ended up finishing it just in time for summer.  My first sewing machine was a portable singer, great for the basics.  I traded it for a white with more sewing features, but not as durable as the Euro-Pro that I have now.  It is a great machine with maintenance-free working parts.  I have sewed all types of fabric on this machine from nylon to demin.  The best feature of this machine is the metal construction which makes it like an industrial machine.      I have sewed every thing under the sun from wedding dresses to stuffed toys.  I have sewed for the public for over 45 years.  I do have other passions than sewing, but making something out of a piece of fabric is so much fun.  I do have other hobbies, such as gardening, crochet, and cross-stitch.  I have a tradition that I do every Christmas is make everyone a home-made gift.  One year I made crochet scarfs, the next year forced amarillus bulbs in painted glasses,  and another year fleece set with hat, scarf, with gloves.  This year I'm making beaded necklaces for the girls.      I hope that everyone understand the gift of giving from the heart.  That is why we celebrate Christmas.  You know that Jesus is the reason for the season.  His love is what is needed through our gift this Christmas season.  Hoping that you and yours has a great holiday season.
