A wonderful mircale product that makes redness go away
I always get red around my nose and on my cheeks. I always try to cover it with makeup but it doesn't work. I was excited when I seen this Eucerin Redness Relief daily perfecting lotion with spf 15. I'm happy I bought it and I'm very pleased with how it works. This is a great lotion for your face, its fragrance free and its very gentle. It has a light texture that doesn't give me that greasy feel. It absorbs quickly in my face and my face feels really soft after. I like how it keeps my face feeling moisturized all day without being too heavy. Its has a skin soothing extract of licorice root which calms sensitive skin. It has a green color neutralizer that cancels out the redness. My skin complexion looks even toned and my makeup goes on smoothly. Its great because this lotion is safe for anyone who has really sensitive skin or if you have rosacea. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that has skin that gets irritated or if you have any redness on your face this product is great. I will always buy this lotion, its a little pricey but I don't mind paying extra for my face to look better.
This was recommended to ...
This was recommended to me by my dermatologist and I have used it for 10 years now and LOVE this product. It is great for people with skin conditions and is terrific in it's effectiveness of neutralizing the redness in skin.
This is one of the few products that actually help minimize my facial redness, it doesn't irritate my super-sensitive skin and it does a great job at moisturizing. The lotion is green and when it is combined over skin with a redness tone in it-- it helps to neutralize the color and lessen the embarrassment of having the bright redness shining through.
Ease of Application
I love the pump design and it's so simple to use. Just one of two tiny squirts and gently massage it into the face using a circular motion and that's it!
There is no scent. Therefore, I... like so many other people with sensitive skin conditions and allergies have no adverse reactions from it. I couldn't be happier with this lotion!
Take the red out of your skin with Eucerin Redness Relief Lotion
One of my recent samples was the Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion. I picked up 2 lots in the dermatologist's office. The size are 0.05 fluid ounce (1.5 ml). I loved that it has a SPF 15 sunscreen, as I live in Florida, and need to apply one daily.
I cleansed my face, and was ready to moisturize it. I tore the top off the sachet, and out came a green lotion. I tried to get a tiny amount, but I had more than enough for my whole face.
Although it says 'fragrance free', I could just make out a slight smell to the lotion. It is green, which I knew helps to take the red out of the skin, or neutralize it.
My skin felt soft, wasn't at all wet, or greasy. It just felt like using any other lotion. The great thing about it is that the slight red I have on my chin, was no longer there.
I think that this product does exactly what it is supposed to do, and am extremely happy with it.
Took the red out of my skin.
Ease of Application
Just rub it in.
Very slight to begin with, then disappears.

Not a miracle cure, but good moisturizer nonetheless.
**This product in a nutshell: **is a very good daily moisturizer that is designated for those of us with sensitive and/or reddened complexions. While Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion makes my skin feel hydrated and does not cause oiliness, it just did not do much in terms of making my visibly red skin any less blotchy.
I am a massive fan of the entire Eucerin skin care family, of which I have provided a review of most of my faves here on Viewpoints. Eucerin brand products are a beacon of hope for my red, ruddy, rosacea-prone, combination skin. I decided to try Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion based on my pre-existing adoration for the Eucerin brand combined with positive reviews I had heard from others who have tried it.
After washing and using toner on my face, I squirted 2 pumps of cream into my palm. The lotion is a light green color, which is the characteristic that is supposed to reduce facial redness. I have tried a couple different methods of application. Rubbing this lotion into my fingers and then smoothing it into my face makes the product go on too thick, causing green streaks that take awhile to blend into my skin. The best method of application that I have found is to place a small dot of cream on the forehead, each cheek, my nose, chin, and one under my chin. Then, I gently blend the product into my skin. Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion has a light texture, absorbing quickly into my skin, without causing an oily sheen, even on my oily T-zone. The results were not profound in the least, however. My cheeks were still quite flushed and the red blotches I have close to my jawline were diminished only somewhat. I was kind of hoping that this product would eradicate my need for foundation to cover my rosacea...maybe my expectations were just too high for this product, but I just did not see a major difference in redness reduction. I continue to use foundation and powder, which has been my main ally in evening out my rosacea-prone complexion.
**I give this product 3/5 stars because: **it is a very good moisturizer that has SPF 15. I wanted to give it a solid 4 star rating, however, since it does not do what it claims, I had to knock off a star. I will continue to use this product since it doesn't make my face oily, but as for its redness reduction claims, I didn't see much of a difference.
Doesn't meet all my expectations as a lotion.
I purchased Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion SPF 15 because I was in need of a daily moisturizer and I had already developed a love for Eucerin Redness Relief Cleanser. I thought this would be a great skin care product to use alongside the cleanser. However, I was dissappointed when I realized it did not contain the active ingredients which the cleanser has to combat redness. It is more of a coverup. Green in tint, it successfully tones down redness and creates a more even color on ones face. That was great for me, as I do have redness, but I found that if I did not look carefully while applying, I would find streaks of green on my face later when I got in a different light. The biggest reason for me giving this product such a low score is that it did not moisturize my face. It felt more like paint in my hand instead of a creamy lotion and when I put it on it gave more of a chalky feeling than a moist one. I have normal skin which is not overly dry, but I honestly felt like my skin began to really lack moisture the more I used it. I love Eucerin products, especially the Redness Relief line, but this one didn't work out for me.
Eucerin Redness Relief works on my red, sensitive facial skin
My sensitive skin turns red so easily. The slightest irritation or pressure brings out very unflattering facial blotches. Often people will ask if I feel well just because my complexion has so many red splotches. Also I have changed facial moisturizers so often that I usually have a closet full of discards each year when I houseclean. After I wash my face it is always so dry that the skin feels like it is being stretched. Early last fall I was desperately searching in my drug store for something that might help, and I found this Eucerin moisturizer that was specifically targeted for visibly red skin. I have been using it since with no discomfort. This is the longest I can remember using the same moisturizer on my face in years. It does not cover the redness, but it helps. It's been a while now before someone asked me if I had a fever; because my face was red. That alone is a big plus. I just hope this good result continues.
Finally, something that doesn't bother my skin.
I use Eucerin Redness Relief perfecting lotion daily. I do not have Roseca but do have extremely sensitive dry skin with lots of red. It is one of a very small number of products that does not irritate my skin. I am so thankful to have found it. My skin is visibly less red after using it, however, the redness is not completely gone. I just recently had my mother try it (she does have Roseca) and she like it too! It is a thin feeling non greasy lotion. I do wish it was a little thicker/ more mositurizing personally so I would not feel like I need a night cream in addition to the Eucerin perfecting lotion. I would absolutely reccomend you try this if you have red skin or even just very sensitive skin. Like many of Eucerin's products, this one is a winner. I personally am willing to spend more on this than I spend on most of my other personal care products due to it's high quality. Fortunately, a little goes a long way.
Who Needs Foundation
All I have to say is "God In A Bottle" I don't even have to wear foundation anymore. I was sceptical at first, I've tried other "cures" for my rosacia but they didn't work. I kept the reciept on my fridge for the likely trip to return it to the store. My face has always been splotchy, on my cheeks, nose, forhead. I always looked like I had been skiing for the day, when I hadn't. I always wore SPF too. I tried to cover it up with foundation, but that eventually became noticable too. That is until I brought this product home. That evening after washing my face I put just one squirt on my finger tips and rubbed it in. The next morning, after my shower the same. I couldn't believe it, my skin was as clear as a baby's; I didn't even need foundation. I've been using it ever since and have not needed or worn foundation at all. Since it already has SPF, I don't need to apply that either. I've learned that you only need one squrt at a time or else it's hard to blend it all in and that makes the product last longer. I'm sold.
