I have found Estee Lauder mascara to be very hit or miss over the years. So when I received a free sample size of the Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara, I couldn't wait to use it. I put my regular black mascara on my left eyelashes, and then removed the wand of the Estee Lauder one. The color is 01, Extreme Black. Because it is a sample size the wand is on a shorter stem. The wand is really thick, and then tampers down. The brush looked great to me. I applied it to my right eye, and then gave it a second coat, which I always do. My lashes were a blacker, black, which I loved, but the lashes were clumping together. I am disappointed with this mascara, and certainly won't be buying a full-size one. Performance Lashes clumped together. Ease of Application Just as good as most mascaras.
