These are good for regular pain relief, but the added sodium is probably unnecessary. Effectiveness For straight up pain relief, these are pretty good and effective, as good or almost as good as any other comparable product from another brand. On the sodium side, the added sodium doesn't seem to help me with pain relief any more than a regular pain reliever would. When most people already have too much sodium in their diet, particularly from processed and canned food, they probably want to shy away from adding even more to their diet. I seem to get the same results from a regular pain reliever. Ease of Use The pills are relatively small and easy to swallow. Unless one has a lot of problems with swallowing pills, then these are very easy to use with just a glass of water. Immediacy These seem to work about as quickly as the leading competition. Perhaps they aren't as fast as I would like at times, but it is probably about as well as can be expected.

Kirkland Naproxen Sodium is a fantastic medication.  It works great on headaches, back aches, sore muscles, toothaches, TMJ, cramps, pain reliever, etc.  We used to take the name brand Aleve, but Kirkland Naproxen Sodium is essentially the same medication at a fraction of the cost.  For me, Naproxen Sodium does not have any side effects. It generally starts to work 20 - 30 minutes after taking it.  The medication lasts 12 hours, which means you only need to take the pills twice a day for a full 24 hour coverage.  With other aspirin, fever reducer, anti-inflammatories, etc it generally requires pills to be taken every 4-6 hours. I recommended Kirkland Naproxen Sodium to my mother for treating her arthritis pain.  She said it works just as well as other anti-inflammatories.  She was happy about taking fewer pills each day. I would definitely recommend Kirkland Naproxen Sodium.  It's a wonder drug!

I have always suffered from headaches and for years took ibuprofen and asprin to ease the pain, with less than satisfactory results.  Naproxin requires less pills and works much more effectivley than ibuprofen or asprin.  Whenever I used to get a headache it pretty much ruined my entire day waiting around for relief.  Naproxin starts working right away and takes care of your head ache for real.  There are no side effects with Naproxin either which is definatley a plus!

My husband has been in several tragic accidents, and has had many injuries that cause him constant pain every day. He has tried many different pain relievers to enable himself to do work each day. This medication does much more for him by taking 2 pills per day than Ibuprofin, Tylenol, Aspirin, or any other pain reliever, even when he would take 8 of the others to get them to work. These work great, and are not hard on your organs. We highly recommend these!

I've been dealing with some kind of nasty bacterium or virus the past few days which resulted in serious vomiting, fevers, chills, and muscle aches.  My husband offered me some *Equate Naproxen Sodium* when I was feeling my worst and I have to say that I am very happy that he did! *Naproxen Sodium* is a NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) over-the-counter medication that can be used to relieve fever, aches, arthritis pain, etc.  The *Equate Naproxen Sodium* that my husband bought a few months ago comes in 220 milligram tablets that you are supposed to ingest once every 8-12 hours.  He gave me 2 initially last night (which the label recommended for the first dose), and I've taken one every 8 hours since then.  This pain reliever has replaced my writhing and whimpering in bed with enough relief to comfortably lay in bed and fall asleep when I'm tired and move around during the day as I normally would. My husband takes *Equate Naproxen Sodium* almost every weekend after he works in the yard: splitting wood, shoveling soil/mulch, raking, weeding, removing dead branches, etc.  I never bothered with it because plain old aspirin always got the job done.  Last night was my first experience with *Naproxen Sodium* and I can guarantee that it won't be my last.  This is a powerful over-the-counter pain reliever that provides comfort to those with severe muscle aches and cramps.  Recommended! Effectiveness This product quickly relieved my very intense pain. We later learned that it was a swollen, bleeding, and gangrenous gallbladder that was making me so sick and causing the pain. This painkiller gave me comfort and allowed me to keep living my life when I should have been in the hospital! Ease of Use It is simple to use this product: take the recommended number of tablets with a full glass of water. I usually take Naproxen with something in my stomach to prevent any stomach pain or upset. Immediacy This product alleviated my very severe pain within an hour or so after first taking it.

If I could marry a thing - this would be it. I am not a doctor or nurse but I got me some real aches and pains. I have been using this product for a couple of years now. I saw it next to the brand name and was at the time hard up on cash so I tried it. I dont know it is with this stuff but it works way faster than the brand name. I thought I was blowing fluff at myself but I gave it to my Nana and kept my mouth shut and the next day she said she couldnt get over how fast it worked and better. I think she took it for a backache. My stomach is pretty sensitive and I am prone to stress borne ulcers and sores and this stuff doesnt upset my stomach at all. I use it for all sorts fo things. I am a big DIY-er who has a slipped disc in my lower back. I am always getting strains and sprains. this works just fine for them. Right now I am using it for a dislocated hip.I noticed that Nana is right, it does work faster than other over the counter pain relievers. I could be a gagillionaire and I would still but this stuff.

Most times I'm fine, but once in a while cramps make me almost feel incapacitated due to the sharp pains and the sick feeling I get. I decided I'd get a bottle of Aleve to help me out. When I got to the store I, of course, compared the less-expensive Equate option to Aleve, and upon seeing no active ingredient difference, I chose to give Equate a shot (in my experience with Equate, it's really a hit-or-miss brand, but they always seem to do great with pills). I got home, tried one, and was so pleased! It completely rid me of my afflictions. I only took one, just like the dosage said, and it did a great job! Ibuprofen is one of those things where you have to pop a bunch of them, and most people go over the dosage and still don't rid themselves of their pain/cramps. With Equate Naproxen, if you take *one* every 7 or 8 hours (2 a day), you're all set! It's so handy, and I would imagine it's better for you. Plus it works GREAT! It also seems kick in really quickly! I'm one of those people that has a lot of other physical pains but never took much for the pain. In addition to getting cramp relief, all my other pains were gone when I took Naproxen. :)

Naproxen is the one NSAID that really works for my minor arthritis pain and keeps me moving comfortably all day and sleeping well all night. However, I've always been thrifty by nature and have to swallow hard when it comes to shelling out more money than I have to. Equate brand naproxen works just as well as the Aleve brand and at a significant saving. I live aboard a sailboat and I'm always getting a strained muscle or a bruise somewhere. I take two naproxen at night and one in the morning. Voila'. No pain. I must confess, my berth aboard the boat really needs some upgrades and my back often is stiff in the morning. Naproxen takes care of that. I'm moving well and easily within 20 minutes of taking it. At about 60 per cent of the price of name brand naproxen, the Equate brand makes sense for someone who takes it on a regular basis. It is available in 500-tablet bottles,an added bonus to me.
