I bought these Cleansing pads because I needed a way to clean my face quickly without having water or soap available. These were the answer to my prayers. I love them. They are cheaply priced, as they are a store brand and not a name brand and that will turn a few people off of them but I'm here to tell you that you should get over and try them out because they are actually pretty good. I like them better than the other brands that I have used. Unlike other ones, these don't dry out my skin, they leave it feeling just clean instead of clean and dried out. They have been pretty effective at keeping my skin clear and clean. They are more effective than some of the other brands that I have used, and I was surprised at how fast I saw results after purchasing and using these. They don't really have a smell, which with something I am cleaning my face with, I don't feel like I really need the product to smell good. So I liked the fact that they were scent free. Again, they are priced great. Why pay too much for a product when you can find the same thing for a cheaper price.

Overall, these Equate daily cleansing pads are a good value for the money. They cost less than the brand name equivalents, but they seem to work just about as well as the name brand. Combining these quality results with the lost cost, they do present the best value for the money that they cost. Effectiveness These cleansing pads are as effective as any other ones that I have tried using. Ease of Application These are about as easy to apply and use as any cleansing pads like this can be. Convenience Ease of application certainly makes these wipes very convenient, and the relatively small container they come in is also a bonus. It offers a portable container that won't take too much space when packing, whether for an overnight trip or an extended stay away from home. Side Effects Personally, I have not experienced any negative side effects from using this product. Allergies and skin reactions can vary from person to person though, so one must always be aware of the possibility. Immediacy They work as quickly as any others.

I bought the Equate Daily Cleansing Pads on a whim because they were cheap. I am always looking for a good cleansing pad that will help my acne. I don't have horrible acne like I did as a teenager, but I still get a large amount of breakouts. When I got home, the pads were completely dry! I took them all out, and even the ones on the bottom were dry. I drove back to the store, and they replaced them. This time, I checked them in the car. The second pack was dry too! So, I went back in once again, and they gave me a third jar. The third jar was fine, so I took it home. The fact that it was dry should have been my first clue. It meant those pads had been sitting on the shelves so long they became dry. The only reason they would sit on the shelf that long is because no one wants to buy it. It did nothing for my acne. I used them twice a day, and saw no results. After two weeks of using them, I started to get a few really big pimples on my chin. That was the first time I had ever had a break out on my chin. These only made things worse!

Equate Daily cleansing pads work as well as the brand names. The big difference is in the price not quality. You get the same active ingredient, Salicylic acid 2%, as the other brands. This active ingredient works well to clean and clear your skin of blemishes. When your on the go and don't have time to wash your face Daily cleansing pads by Equate works great to take its place. It's recommended by the company, the manufacturer, to use after you wash your face. I suppose so that your face is deep down clean. The active ingredient, Salicylic acid 2%, is also used in many acne over the counter acne cleansers and soaps. This product, that has Salicylic acid 2%, works for me. You should try it slowly to make sure you won't have any reaction from the active ingredient. Use it about once a day. Sometimes i use it more if i feel my face is dirty from doing jobs around the house, that get me dirty. I highly recommend this product. It works and the price is low when you compare it with its peers. So what are you waiting for? It's a buy from me. Side Effects If i use more than say twice in one day my face might get red. Which goes away quickly.

Anyone who reads my reviews might realize that I'm all about saving money. And acne medications, especially those endorsed by celebrities or famous dermatologists, always cost more, even if they have the same percentage of active ingredients. In most of the acne medications available over the counter, the two main active ingredients for treating acne are benzoyl peroxide, or different types of acids - and the Equate Daily Cleansing Pads contain 2% salicylic acid. (This is the same acid that is in aspirin, and I've tried the homemade remedy of crushing aspirins, making a paste, and applying them to my face. It didn't work as well as these pads, so I won't recommend you try that.) I have been fighting adult acne for years, and these are my recommendations: these pads help a lot, are much cheaper than the name brands even though they contain the same amount of salicylic acid, and are much easier to apply than the liquid form of salicylic acid. However, the percentage of acid is very low (2%), which is good to start with, but if you need a stronger concentration, I recommend that you buy the liquid in higher concentrations (available online at 20% and 30% without a prescription) and mix it in with the 2% until you find a concentration that works for you.

Thank goodness for equate products. They consistently offer up competitive, high quality items that rival the more expensive name brand products I like to buy, and save me a lot of money. These Equate cleansing pads work just as good as more expensive pre-treated acne pads, and I only pay half the price for them that I would a name brand. Basically the ingredients in these are almost the same as you would find in a more expensive type. I use these cleansing pads twice daily, in the evening after washing my face to ensure that all traces of makeup are gone, and in the morning before applying my moisturizer and treatments. It really cleans my face well, and it is so satisfying to see your leftover makeup wiped away clean on these things. They are very convenient in the jar they come in, and I find that I can cut them in half and use them with plenty of product on one half of a pad, so they last me twice as long. They are an easy step in keeping my face pimple free.

I bought these Equate Daily Cleansing Pads because they were priced so well and I remembered using similar pads like these when I was a teenager. I wanted these for a quick and easy way to clean my face at night before bed and for removing any makeup I had on. I don't have major acne problems so I don't use these pads every single day but when I do use them they work great. One of the greatest things about these pads is you can use them on the go. I think they are great to take to the gym to clean your face after a workout. Also you can take them on vacation by easily throwing them in your suitcase. Effectiveness Very effective at getting a good clean face and removing makeup. Ease of Application Very easy to take out of the jar and rub on the face for a good clean. Convenience Very convenient and easy to use when on the go. Side Effects The only side effect I notice is if I use them to often my face gets dried out. So because of this I only use them a few times a week at most.

I bought these when I was a college student on a tight budget. The pads themselves are nice and thick, they are two-three inches around which is plenty large to clean your entire face with one pad. The Equate Daily Cleansing Pads are quilted, so that you can generate some friction when cleaning your face, and really remove the dirt and grime. They stayed wet, although I did have to leave the container upside down to keep the pads on the top wet at first. The pads are white, which is kind of nice since you can actually see the dirt that you remove. My biggest complaint is I do not think these pads are good for daily use. They are so astringent, they leave my face tingling, and super dry. I used them about once a week, usually after a run, and it usually took at least two days before my face had returned to normal. There is no way I could use them every day. I also wish they had a more pleasant smell, they reek like alcohol.

I do not have major acne but I do find that I get clogged pores which sometimes turn into pimples around my chin and temples. I started using these pads after cleansing my face and noticed a difference of the problem areas on my skin. The Equate brand is Walmarts store brand and you can save a lot of money by buying the Equate brand instead of name brands. This has the same active ingredient (2% salicylic acid) for treating acne that the name brands have and costs a lot less. Effectiveness When I use these acne pads they do a really good job of clearing up my small bumps around my chin and mouth. It is recommended by the manufacturer that you wash your face before using and I do this. By doing this, the acne medication can be absorbed by your skin better. I have used these by themselves on occassion when I needed to refresh my face in a hurry. Ease of Application I like that I do not have to squirt or pour liquid onto a cotton ball to apply. The pads are fairly thick and soft and already have acne medication on them. So easy to use, just swipe over face and toss in the trash. Side Effects Too much salicylic acid can strip all the oils from your skin making it feel extra dry. To prevent this, I try not to use multiple products with salicylic acid. I also follow up with a moisturizer. When I first started using these I got some dry, flaky patches but with continued use they went away. The acid was doing it's job and getting rid of dry, old skin. Immediacy I did not get overnight results while using this. It took a couple of weeks of consistently using this to see my skin start to clear up.

If you use Oxy or Stridex or Salicylic acid pads of any brand, this is less expensive and just as effective. Effectiveness Salicylic Acid pad works just as well no matter what brand of pad it is. This is the same concentration as the Oxy and Stridex pad, and it serves the purpose just as well, at sometimes half the price. Ease of Application Application is very simple-just pull a pad apart from the others in the jar and wipe it on your face! When I want to truly scrub, I use face wash, and then apply this afterward. Convenience When I travel, I take pads out and put them in a plastic bag, because the jar leaks, but the convenience of cleaning with a tiny pad and simply throwing it away, whether I am home or traveling, beats using a washcloth anytime. Side Effects I have used these Equate pads for over ten years, and the only side effect is the drying out of my skin, but I have to apply them multiple times a day for it to reach that point. Immediacy Salicylic acid kills bacteria and helps your immune system beat the infection in the pore, so it can bring a pimple to a head faster. It does not clear up the pimple within a day, but speeds the process of it healing.
