Decent printer with occasional flaws in quality and user friendliness. Does a good job printing things out. I've never had any connectivity problems with it either Performance Sometimes has problems with cartridge alignment. Will print off blank sheets of paper several times in a row before getting it right Copy Quality Used this to copy multiple times. Does very well. Also scans very quickly and quietly directly to the computer. Great quality and very good paper alignment when scanning. Ink/Paper Use Does a great job preserving ink when color is low, but uses it up very quickly to begin with Ease of Use Fairly straight forward and easy to understand. Most of the set up is done through the computer with little contact with the printer Durability So far so good it seems. I don't bang it around very much and it just sits on my desk, so it's lasted over 3 years so far Design This printer is rather heavy and bulky. Has a hard time fitting on shelves and such, but otherwise, it's very efficient.

I purchased two of the same printers six months ago because it is really inexpensive. I figure I can use the ink from one of them because the price of the printer was cheaper than the ink. It is small and compact, nice looking too. For an all-in-one printer, it is really compact. It is easy to hook up. For me, it takes less than 15 minutes (it is a matter of putting in the CD and loading the driver). Now for the negatives, it is an ink hog. I mean, I purchased two printers six months ago and now I am using the ink cartridges from the second machine. I do not anticipating buying more ink so I am considering the printer as a disposable. It is also very loud and slow. The print quality is fine. I have not really test the scanning quality. The machine looks like from the outside, but with it being loud and using up a lot of ink, I cannot recommend it.

I've been disappointed with Epson printers before in the old days of dial up modems, so was hesitant about trying them again.  Some of my fears were dispelled by the fact that it was free with a rebate from buying my MacBook Pro.  So upon opening it, I wasn't overly excited about starting it up.  But once I did I was impressed by how easy it was to set up.  Clicked a couple of buttons, and it was connected to my wireless network almost instantly.  After that, printing was a breeze after my MacBook Pro automatically downloaded the necessary drivers for the Epson printer.  So, the moment of truth arrived as I began to print out a test page to see how the printer would work, it was a particularly colorful selection, but the printer handled all the vibrant colors magnificently.  All the ink dried very quickly, and it provided a high contrast ratio.  It didn't seem to use all that much ink, and after having it for about 6 months now, I can confirm that it does not hog ink in the least, and overall, is a great product.

This printer will not print in only black.  It continually uses up the color even if your just printing black text.  The printer goes not work well with any generic printed cartriges.  It continually makes pop-ups asking for genuine high priced ink.  Changing ink is a slow tedious process. I'm dropping this new epson off at the Goodwill and buying something else - taking the loss.  Going back to laser.

This is a very good printer. It wasnt very expensive, and the printers are very good. Printing pictures on this is AMAZING. I love the quality! On the other hand, it is very loud when starting. It can startle you, but it's nothing big.

I bought this printer on the Day after Thanksgiving sale last year. I replaced an HP that seized up and showed a blue screen of death. So I steered away from HP and chose this Epson instead. It first caught my attention because the screen was on the left side instead of the right. This is the only all in one printer that I know of that has a screen on the left side and because of where my printer is located in my home office, a left sided screen makes everything so much easier. I also really like ow it is a sleek matte black color that doesn't show fingerprints when touched. The scanner lid is really easy to open and once it is opened all the way, it has stops to keep it from just falling off the back. I had some difficulty figuring out how the paper went into the rear of the printer the first time. I was trying to line it up on the right side when it needs to be lined up to the left side instead. There is also this little clear plastic piece where you put the paper that gets in the way a lot if you change out paper types often. But since I only use one type of paper, it isn't a big deal for me. One other thing that is rather annoying is that when you start up the unit it is really noisy with a lot of clicks and bumps. But after that, it is very quiet even when printing and scanning.

I like the fact that this is an all-in-one printer/scanner/copier/ machine, but the price of the ink is killing me. I can put up with the noisy startup, but I can't afford the price of the ink. I bought it as part of a package when I purchased my Dell, I had no choice on the printer. I like Epson printers, but they really need to lower the price of their ink. I just don't understand why it uses so much ink, either. It is a quality product and is very convenient as an all in one.

Starting from the degree of difficulty in loading paper this printer is a pain. ** **It serves many tasks but not without trouble in accessing it's features. The aforementioned gymnastics required to load paper is only surpassed by the rate at which it goes through ink. With seperate tanks for the seperate colors, it would seem that the ink would be more affordable. What they don't tell you is if one tank runs out, it must be replaced or the printer stops working.** **The noise is almost unbearable for a modern printer. It chugs and bangs and it could serve well as an alarm clock if it had an on board timer. ** **Lastly, if speed is a concern, the Epson NX415 All-In-One InkJet Printer ranks last. I don't know what takes so long but it's lack of speed combined with all of the other noted problems makes this printer a must "have not".**

I have got to say without a doubt that this is the best printer i have ever purchased. It was very easy to install. The ink cartridges are easy to change, and the scanner is easy to run. Even if you have little computer knowledge, you could work this just as easily as someone who works with them all day long.

This is a nice printer for the price. It does everything well, it is quiet and looks good as well. As for speed, it's fine for what I do. I don't do mass quantities, which you wouldn't want to do on this type of printer anyway. However, I do sometimes print big files and it's not speed racer but it's not slow either. My only complaint is the ink issue. 1. when I went to print in draft mode, it was too light to read, so what's the point. I had to reprint everything in normal whci kleads me to 2. it uses alot of ink. I have hardly printed anything in color and my cartridges are almost empty. For the draft mode, I know there are several settings, too many really and I don't want to waste ink trying them all :(. Anyway normal draft mode should be readable.
