Cured all of our issues

5

My little boys had an extremely hard time switching from breast-feeding to formula when he was 6 months old. Not only did he just want mommy, but we tried like 10 different formulas, and they all gave gave him gas pains and digestion issues, so our pediatrician recommended lactofree lipil. Low and behold, it solved all our problems almost immediately, and we had a happy healthy baby. I'd like to note that he is now older, and does not have a lactose intolerance to any degree, but there was just something in this formula that helped him not have any of the issues that the others were causing him--and we were so thankful to have found something that worked. When he was a baby, the product was really hard to find in stores--I don't know if it was being carried in many stores, or the demand was so high that they were always out. Regardless, I always made sure to keep an eye out, and when I did find any I stocked up, so that I would always have a happy baby!

Very gentle formula

I used Enfamil Lactofree baby formula for my daughter from about 4 weeks until she turned a year old.  She could not take regular formula and even thought I was breastfeeding, I needed a supplement when I returned to work.  She did so much better on this formula than she even did with breastmilk, that we finally just switched her to formula all the time.  This formula is very gentle and did not cause my little one to throw up after every bottle and she did not suffer from constipation, as she did when I tried her on other formulas.  I highly recommend this product to every one who has a little one with a sensitive tummy.   The only problem I can see with the product is that it is not as widely available as the "regular" formulas.  I had to really shop to find this in my area, therefore when I did find it, I would stock up so I wouldn't have to worry about it for a while.  I am an Enfamil formula momma!

Perfect Formula For Lactose Intolerant Babies!!

5

Enfamil Lactofree Formula is the best formula I have ever given my baby.  She started out ok with the regular Enfamil formula, but when she was about three months old she started getting horrible diarrhea.  I took her to the pediatrician and she suggested that I try the Enfamil GentleEase Formula and she gave me a sample of it.  That formula seemed to ease up the diarrhea, but she would still get some bouts of it. This was because the Enfamil GentleEase Formula has 75% less Lactose in it than regular Enamil Lipil With Iron.  So I took it upon myself to check out the Enfamil website to see what other formulas they had that I could try.  Turns out they have LOTS!  I sent Enfamil an email asking them to send me a sample of the Enfamil LactoFree Formula and I got it in the mail about a week later.  I started my baby girl on it and let me tell ya, It was a God send!  The diarrhea was COMPLETELY gone!  I kept her on that particular formula until she was about 13 months, and then I switched her to the Enfamil Prosobee Next Step Formula.  They don't make a Lactose Free Next Step Formula YET.  But hopefully in the future they will!!

good for my baby

My daughter used the lactofree, and it worked well. She was fussy and constipated so we tried lacto free. It was a good choice.  We did not change the proteins of the formula. Lacto free is still a milk base proteins, but without the lactos.  The soy (prosobee) is a different proteins and we did not want to do that.  I did here that they were not going to make the lactofree anymore, that the gentle ease was going to take its place, but i do not know that for sure. If your baby is a little fussy and you don't know why, but it is not colic, you may want to try the lactofree from enfamil it was a A+++ for us.

Lactofree Lipil is the only way to go!

After a month of having my newborn being fussy, gassy, and constantly spitting up; the doctor almost had me convinced that I was just being a "new mom" and that it was just a little reflux.  I decided to try Enfamil Lactose Free Lipil.  He completely perked up.  It did take a few days to all pass from his system, but I was so relieved and so was he.  The doctor said that it was the same as the other Lipil brands containing Lactose (nutrionally).  He actually strarted taking the formula better and picked up much needed weight.  I even noticed that it stained my children's clothes less because of the lighter color.  Know he is almost 6 yrs old and I have a new baby girl, I started her out on the Lactose Free Lipil and she has been the best baby.  I can't see why anyone would give their baby anything else.

Glad we chose this for our baby

Our 6mth old baby is partially breastfed and has been for the last 3 months. We started her on the Enfamil Lactose-free and she has hardly spat up or been fussy. Even though this product is very pricey, we have decided to stick it out as we have tried Nestle Good Start Supreme and Similac Advanced only to see her reject them both. With the Nestle, even I could notice the change in smell of the products and the difference in it's taste. Worse yet, after each feed for two days straight, our little one spat up. That was when I tried the Similac and even at her hungriest, she refused to take it. Her dad suggested that we try the Enfamil LIPIL Iron after fearing that maybe as a toddler and older child she might not take to cow's milk etc. So, that is what we did today and so far so good.

No fusiness whatsoever with this product!

When I had my daughter, we went through several formulas before we left the hospital.  This was the one that she seemed to take to best. From the time that she left the hospital till she was one year old, this is the only formula that I would buy for my daughter.  I never had problems with spit-ups or gassiness or fussiness.  The extra nutrients in this formula enabled her to grow very quickly and strongly into a non-stop healthy toddler. I would recommend this product to any mother who has problems with their babies taking to formulas.

great for gas and fussiness

This formula was wonderful for my daughter, she was very gassy and fussy, and spit up constantly on enfamil lipil, similac, nestle good start. I even tried similac lactose free that was very thick and grainy, my daughter literally poured this right back out. So I decided to try enfamil lactose free as a last resort and I saw an immediate improvement, I love this formula....
