This was our first HDTV and the quality was shocking coming from a non HD TV. We have had the TV for a few years now and the quality has not diminished at all. It looks the same as the day we purchased it. I am happy with the 42" screen. It is big enough to watch movies and sports without being obnoxiously big in the living room. The TV is light enough that a small lady like myself was able to get it into and out of the car and set it up. Set up is a snap. Not much to it. Overall, a very excellent TV that does what you need it to do. Don't pay extra for a fancy brand name when they are all the same. Picture Quality Had this TV for a few years now and it look just as good today as the day I brought it home from the store. Sound Quality Never fades. The commercials are not louder than the shows (I've had this with a Vizio TV). Design Its a pretty basic design. All black and sleek. But it fits into tight places and looks nice enough to display. Performance It works great. We haven't had any problems or complaints.
