My birthday came and I had broken my favorite hair straightener that had a design similar to this and my husband went out and bought me this. I was a bit apprehensive at first because it was not my normal brand nor was it one that I had ever heard of before, but I knew I had to use it because he thought of me and got it. I plugged it in and while reading the directions found out that it had a rapid head up and it was hot as could be within a few minutes. It gets to a very high temperature (450 degrees) which is great for thick or really curly hair, it helps to pull out all of the curls and frizz. I used it and was amazed at how good it worked, it makes my hair feel so soft and my hair has such a nice and sleek look to it, it also shines so much more than it ever had before. It worked well even when my hair was wet and was able to dry my hair really fast and make it very straight. My hair is super thick so making sure I have one that will pull it all straight is important and this one does the job and it does it really fast.
