I have tried many foundations, but this is the first one that I've used for more than a week and it doesn't feel cakey on.  My sister loves the bare minerals, and had me try some of hers.  It too didn't feel cakey, but the cost and the mess were deterants for me.  The folks at Elizabeth Arden have come up with a compacted cake, with a "grinder" that you twist which releases just enough powder, eliminating the mess of the loose powder.  You can even DROP the compact and it survives!  The cost is a bit pricey but I prefer a product that I can't spill or break, which means I won't be wasting my money going out to buy more.
