Best Dryer I Have Ever Owned

5

The Elohim is the best dryer I have ever had. It has enough power to quickly dry your hair and is not a whiny-noisy as your typical hair dryer. It has a true cool setting which I really like having as a setting and not just a cool shot button. Elchim guarantees their dryers for life, so if you ever run into a problem, you can send it in to them to be fixed and returned, making it a wise investment. I am not affiliated with Elohim and I did not receive this as a sample.

Best Dryer Ever

5

I have been in the hair industry for over 8 years and I have never come across such a wonderful dryer. It is a little expensive but it so worth it. I purchased mine in the limited pink color. The dryer gets the hair completly dry within seconds and it makes your hair feel so light. No frizz and it does not kill the hair. The dryer is bit heavy but you can get used to it by just practicing on it or if your using it every day. It comes with 2 attachmats but I need the comb attachment that I just can't seem to find.

This hair dryer by Elchim is the best I've ever owned.

After using drugstore hair dryers for years I finally had one die after only a couple of months of use. Suddenly needing a new hair dryer I found the Elchim Professional 2001. It is amazing! It is immediately apparent that this is a quality product. The air flow is great and even the highest heat setting is the perfect temperature. It doesn't feel like it's going to burn your hair or scalp. The concentrator attachment is much better than on cheaper hair dryers, i.e. it actually concentrates the already high air flow. I have fine, shoulder length hair and this hair dryer dries my hair fast and makes it look smooth without always having to use a flat iron too. I'm sure it would work great for straightening longer, thicker hair as well. It is a bit heavier than drugstore hair dryers if that is what you are used to, but once you see how it performs you'll probably forget all about this minor downside. The other small thing that you cannot tell until you hold it is that the handle is a bit large in circumference making it a bit harder for small hands. Even with both of these factors I would not give up this hair dryer. It is professional quality and it has obvious benefits over cheaper dryers.

dries well

I have used this dryer for almost 3 years now, and this is by far the best I've ever owned. It reminds me of the way hair dryers used to be designed: moderate heat but high air flow. That's the correct way to do it. (The cheap mass-market hair dryers started getting this backwards around the time they all transitioned from squirrel-cage fans to radial fans. Heating-element wire is cheaper than decent fans motors, I guess; and if that turns a hair dryer into a blowtorch, so what -- people who don't know any better will buy them anyway.) In summary, then, this dryer is tough, heavy, quiet, comfortable, extraordinarily effective, and obviously built for the long haul. The buttons are surprisingly awkward given the quality of the dryer. Once you accept you'll constantly be knocking them off your desired speed and heat, you'll find this a first rate hair dryer. Wet hair is no match for this dryer. It is far, far above anything I've seen in the stores since squirrel-cage motors disappeared some years ago.
