Edy's ice cream is simply amazing. It is the kind of ice cream that seems parlor made - to me. The fun flavors - Butter pecan, spumoni, butter finger, cookie dough - I could go on and on but, I won't. Of all of these, my personal favorite is the butter pecan. The flavor is rich and buttery. Unlike some other brands, the pecans are plentiful although, not overwhelmingly so. Even the color of the ice cream is a rich creamy color. The ice cream is very smooth in texture and taste. The caloric content and nutritional value are not some of it's best qualities. Althoug it comes in at about 130 calories per 1/2 cup serving, it also has fifty fat calories from it and, it doesn't measure all that well in the area of nutritional value. Overall, it's a delicious ice cream that's a bit expensive, mostly worth the price it costs.

I love Edy's Ice Cream. I also love anything butter pecan! I tried Edy's Fun Flavors Butter Pecan a few months ago and I really liked it. It has a very strong flavor, but it's a great flavor. The whole pecans in it are the best part! They add an amazing crunch which brings it levels above regular ice cream. It has a rich flavor and amazing texture. I will always buy Edy's ice cream!

Check the label. Fun Flavors' main ingredient is whey, followed by skim milk. This is crap, not fit for human consumption. Most of Edy's line is fake "ice cream." Try another brand with cream and milk as the top two ingredients.

Edy's Ice Cream is always a 5***** Ice Cream.....any flavor I have tried of Edy's Ice Cream I have always liked. But the 1st time I tried Edy's Butter Pecan Ice Cream, I was SOLD, and now anytime I want Ice Cream, I always buy the Butter Pecan if the store I am at has it. I know there as been a few times over the past 8 months or so that I have left 1 store & went to another store because I wanted Edy's Butter Pecan Ice Cream. Now is that addicted or not? I have tried many different ice creams but Edy's Butter Pecan Flavor has been my favorite for quiet some time now, I prefer it over any of the many flavors that Edy's Ice Cream have. Its always had that same fresh taste and even though its frozen the taste of those Pecans are fresh and delicious. If you put 5 different brands of ice cream in front of me to try, and not have the carton there in front of each dish of ice cream, I really believe I could pick out which brands was Edy's Butter Pecan Ice Cream, it has a taste all its own & there is no other brand quiet like it...............its the only one for me......................

dont get me wrong, i love ice cream and sweets and pretty much all goodies. but this flavor of Edy's ice cream is not all that wonderful.  it is ok and im sure that most young children will eat it, because they will eat almost anything.  but i dont like it very much at all.  it is to sweet and makes me feel like im eating fat in a bowl.  i think that more original Edy's ice cream flavors are better and that they should stick to them.  the price of the ice cream is kind of expensive too, you can find much cheaper brands with the same kinds and varieties of flavors.  so if you are thinking about if you should purchase this kind of Edy's ice cream my advice would be not to do so.  there are many different brands and flavors that taste much better than this one.  and there are much more brands and flavors that cost much less than this brand does.  im sure your kids will eat it but you could get better.

I never thought I'd see the day when I would turn down Edy's Fun Flavors Butter Pecan ice cream but it happened today. I reached into the freezer and grabbed a carton of my favorite ice cream and noticed it seemed awfully small. I knew they had reduced the carton size from a half gallon to 1.75 quarts earlier this summer but this seemed even smaller. The cylindrical container was overly squatty and odd looking. As I checked the label I read that it is now a mere 1.5 quarts and the price had increased by 30 cents.Checking out the other brands I noticed that there was a mixed bag of 1.75 and 1.5 quart sizes. While this may be a better size for the waistline it is deceptive for the consumer.Once returning home I checked out Edy's website. There is no mention of the size reduction and although I feel fairly confident in saying that it is a way for the company to appear to be holding prices in line they are not. I feel cheated. I would rather have honesty in pricing and keep the packaging the same. We all get that prices are increasing. We understand that, but, on principle I just couldn't buy it... Maybe I will be able to lose that weight afterall....P.S. To be fair Edy's is not the only company doing this. Take a look at the cereal aisle!
