These shelf units are perfect for our garage and ever growing amount of stuff to be stored. These shelves are made from steel and boast a one thousand pound load capacity per shelf. That is awesome and means we can keep things from piling up on the floor just because they may be too heavy for traditional shelving. We have a couple of these shelving units along the wall in our garage and use it to hold our cleaning supplies, air compressor tank, power tools too big for our tool cabinet, painting supplies, and other various treasures that make their way into our home. I never worry about overloading it since we do not have a ton of heavy items. The shelves can be adjusted to varying heights to accommodate your needs which is nice, plus they can also be installed facing up for a flat shelf surface or down to create a lip around the edge so things can not roll off the shelf.

The Edsal 48" Heavy-Duty Steel Shelving have been a great addition to our garage/storage room. We have been able to get much more organized with these shelves and have everything at easy access. They withstand a lot of weight so you can use them for just about everything. We had so much stuff piled up in our garage and these have made things a lot more convenient, and have saved us a lot of space. They are easy to assemble, put together and set up and they take up little space, yet save you a lot of wasted space. They come at a good price and are hardy and durable. We expect ours to last for years. We are actually looking into getting a few more, so we can keep organizing our place. The height is also perfect and gives you easy access. I would suggest these for anyone who wants to clean up or organize the garage, bodega or storage room. They will save you a lot of wasted time later when you are searching everywhere for things you need at a moments notice.

I purchased several Edsal 48" Heavy-Duty Steel Shelving for my garage and home. I was thrilled to find out that all I needed was a mallet to setup the shelving unit. Installation of the shelves was straightforward, but connecting the first post can be difficult without assistance due to its weight. The steel frame that houses the shelves is rock-solid, but I'm able to move it with an assortment of weighted items on it without the frame wobbling. I find that the shelves are extremely light for their material, but show no signs of flex no matter what I put on them. The frame has a nice finish to it that has withstood several floods and shows no signs of rusting. The best thing about this shelving unit is that it can house a wide height variety of items in a confined amount of space because the shelves are adjustable. I would definitely recommend the Edsal 48" Heavy-Duty Steel Shelving because it is a space saver and will last a lifetime.

I was looking for extra shelving for storage space in my garage and basement. I was comparing metal shelving and decided to go with the Edsal 48" Heavy-Duty Steel Shelving. I think this metal and unit looked a little sturdier than a few of the other ones I looked at. I love that you can adjust these shelves and assemble them in different ways and styles to suit your needs. I hate to put stuff together. This was not too difficult at all. I just read the instructions and all went well. I like that shelves do not bow and bend with weight. I have bought several plastic shelving units that ended up bowing and bending so that you couldn't store things properly anyway. The frame is metal but the shelf part is made of wood. The metal is coated to keep rust away. I think these look very neat and organized and are so versatile. I thought they were a little pricey but I still worth getting. They will last me forever.

This is just like metal shelves that you can find at any yard sale, the problem is that you're paying more for it. This is one of the first shelves I had bought to replace the old rusty shelves in my garage for. I was sorry for the purchase within the first few months however. It's supposed to have a four thousand pound capacity, but I don't see how it could even handle a thousand pounds loaded onto it. I set up the shelf just as the directions said, but they seemed unstable and rickety from the beginning. After putting some tools on the shelf, they were sagging within a week. The total combined weight on each shelf wasn't even one thousand pounds, so these shelves aren't made for durability and they're definitely not made to go into a garage they can't handle the small assortment of tools I put on it. I ended up putting it inside the house and buying a completely new steel shelving unit. One that was built for a garage and built tough. I wouldn't recommend this for a garage, it's built more to be used in a house or inside a utility room, but it may not even be able to handle the large containers of laundry detergent it's so flimsy.

Edsal shelving create good looking storage that can be used in a garage, basement or wherever you need storage. The frame is steel made for strength, and doesn't bend easily. The shelves have a finish that is resistant to scratching or rust and the shelves are boards that are painted black to match the steel frame. The shelves are labeled that they will hold five thousand pounds that is distributed. We checked out the pricing of all steel shelving and while the overall cost was about the same we liked the way the Edsal shevlving was solid and did not have space in between and they looked more expensive. We are happy with our choice as they are the perfect answer for needed storage. I dreaded having to do the assembly for three sets of shelves, however it really wasn't so bad. The instructions were clear and all of the bolts and screw were included, Good product and we would recommend this shelving.

I use these shelves to store a lot of things. My tools, boxes of old toys and clothes, and craft stuff for my wife. These can hold a lot of things and a lot of weight. I can store all of my drills, saws, wrenches, and other hand tools. The only down side to these shelves is that I used to keep them in my garage but due to the cold weather and sometimes damp weather they did begin to rust a little bit at the corners. So I had to move them inside to the basement. Other then that I am glad I purchased them. I have the four shelf set and I bought two of them. They look big in the picture but they actually fit well in tight spaces because they are not very wide. They are tall. The shelves are two feet long and a foot wide. They are about six and a half feet tall. The shelves might not sound that big but they do hold a lot. They are held together very well. The material is very solid. I have to have sturdy things in my house I have two children and one likes to climb.
