My kitchen sink seemed to always be full even though I felt as if I washed dishes twice a day! My kitchen is relatively large but I couldn't see adding a built in dishwasher, so I've put off buying a dishwasher until I ran across the compact countertop EdgeStar Dishwasher. This has been one of the best investments I have ever made! Quiet, hooks directly up to the kitchen faucet, and washes a ton of dishes at once, I'm enjoying spending time with my girls rather than slaving away at the sink! I was able to hook everything up right out of the box, I had the hose leak in the back but that was because I hadn't tighten it enough, attaching the quick lock attachment to the faucet to run a load is simple and when it's finished it's easy to remove from the faucet. Highly recommend if you're on a budget or have limited kitchen space.

I just think this is a amazing Dishwasher it is small and compact but it washes the dishes extremely well. It clean the dishes in one wash and do not clog up it is amazing. It holds about 4 place setting and the utility basket is very large it hold so much silverware. The dishwasher tub is very strong and it will last a long time. What I love about this dishwasher is that it is easy to load. I like how it is a counter top dishwasher because it is at the same level as you are, it makes the loading and the hook up very easy. The hose hook up very fast and it also comes with the appropriate faucet adapter so you do not have to guess which one to buy. I gave this dishwasher a 10 rating because it has everything and does a wonderful job. And it does it with out a lot of trouble. I also like the color it is stainless which make the clean up easy. The tub is also made with durable material which does not rust and the rack are great it has a coated plastic over them so it will not damage your dishes. Noise Level The dishwasher is so quiet you can not hear anything but the water running. The noise is so quiet that sometimes you have to go check to see if it is still running. The noise level is what makes this dishwasher great. Cleaning Time You would be amazed how well this dishwasher clean and how fast it does it. The dishwasher has several cleaning cycle some are longer than others and some are short. But not matter how long or short the time is it works great. Loading Flexibility This dishwasher is very flexible and have a lot of space when it comes to loading it . It is very easy to load and it save so much time because the large space inside the tube. Performance The performance of this dishwasher is great I have had many dishwasher but this one is far better than most. When I used it for the first time I could not believe how well it cleaned my dishes and this is whether you per soak the dishes or not. Design I love the design because it is compact it leaves room on your counter top for other item it does take up a little space but it is not overwhelming and the interior of the tub has a great design. Durability I think this dishwasher will last a really long time it is very durable and the rack is made out of good material which has a finish coating which is made for durability.

Somewhat recently when our dishwasher broke for the last time, we found out it would take an extensive amount of time to get it fixed because it was an older model, although I was unhappy with that, I was even more unhappy with the bill! We decided to junk it and purchase a newer but less expensive model. The EdgeStar Countertop Portable Dishwasher seemed to be fitting for us - as far as price and timeliness of the delivery. It is quite a bit smaller than our older model but it's big enough to load all the dinner dishes, with the exception of pots and pans. The inside of the dishwasher is stainless steel which is a nice luxurious touch. The great thing about the dishwasher is that it's a bit more quiet than larger models although it isn't entirely silent - it's not bothersome at all. It has 2 different tie cycles one runs on a rinse and takes about ten or 15 minutes whereas the other one runs from 35 to 45 minutes which is about the same amount of time it takes to run a regular sized dishwasher - I was quite surprised by that because I figured that a smaller dishwasher and smaller load size would take less time. The good news in all of this though is it takes less dishwashing detergent to clean your dishes. If you use power packs like me, you'll need to cut them in half because dishwashing companies don't make the smaller ones that would be ideal for this size dishwasher. There really isn't a down side to this particular model - other than the smaller size but, even that is workable - considering it only takes half a tab to wash a load of dishes. Loading Flexibility It's compact and small so flexibility is limited Performance If you use half a tab instead of a full sized one you should be fine, no cloudy dishes. Design stainless steel inside
