I cannot figure out how to remove the fabric bedding from this cradle. Need advice!

I have used this bassinet for two babies now and it is wonderful. I love the fact that I can roll it around to different rooms if I need to. (Example: My mother has come to visit and will take care of the baby for a couple night for my husband and I so we can catch up on sleep) I also love that it rocks so if the baby is only slightly fussy I can rock her a little bit and usually she falls right back to sleep. Plus this bassinet is very stable like I said I have had it for 2 babies and 3 years now and it is still just as stable now as it was when I first bought it. I can see this product lasting for the next child or two also. This bassinet is also very cute and appeals to my designer style in that it fits into almost any design with it being white with clean lines. The bedding is also very easy to clean because you can take it off and then throw it into the washer and dryer. I did bleach mine and then wash with baby detergent afterwards.

We bought the Eddie Bauer Musical Rocking Bassinet a few years ago, thinking it would be a great place for our new baby to sleep for the first few months. It fit nicely right next to the bed, enabling me to get to the baby quickly during the night. We chose the dark wood. It is a very beautiful item. I think of it more as a cradle, due to the rocking feature. It is supposed to lock into place, but we found that even when locked, it still rocks a little bit. It also has a lullaby player, which we never used that much. There is room underneath to store blankets or diapers. We really have not gotten our money's worth out of this product. If I could do it again, I would choose a co-sleeper instead. We didn't use it very long, because it seemed as soon as the babies got a little bigger and started stretching out, they would hit the sides and wake themselves up. I felt a little nervous, too, about the tendency for the bassinet to lean to whatever side has more weight, even when "locked" into place. Too many times I would find the baby with her face just too close to the side for comfort, with little breathing room. With our last baby, the bassinet sits in the living room as a place to lay the baby for a few minutes when I need to tend to another child or take something out of the oven. I have always loved how it looks in our bedroom or in the living room, but it was just not the most practical item for us.

Afer looking at many different kinds of bassinets, we chose the Eddie Bauer Bassinet. There are so many great features that help sooth the baby so they get a great sleep. One of my favorite features is how compact the bassinet is! We keep it right next to our bed which makes it super easy to do a nighttime feeding. I love how super comfy it is for the baby as well. The little shade is nice when you have light coming in your room. I used that often! You can rock your baby while they are drifting off to sleep without having to hold them and then have them wake up when you want to put them down for the night! Music is a great asset as well. I also loved the shelf on the bottome which I stored extra diapers and wipes so I did not have to get out of bed in the middle of night for a change. This was the smartest bassinet buys we bought. Oh and how super stylish is a really big seller point as it matched our furniture!

I used this bassinett with both my son and daughter when they were newborns and infants.  I liked the look of the bassinett (I chose the darker wood color) when I was looking for more masculine items when registering for my son's baby shower.  I chose it partly because it rocks and provided music.  When we put it together and turned the music on, I was immediately disappointed.  The music is not very soothing and neither my son nor daughter ever liked it.  Since I had purchased it in part because it played music, this was a disappointment.  The other reason why I chose it was because it was able to rock.  At the time, there weren't any bassinetts available that would electronically rock.  Now, they're are.  If I were purchasing a bassinett today, I wouldn't pick this model due to the fact that it manually rocks.  It is very impractical to "rock" your baby to sleep all night long as your arm gets very tired.  The only other con is that it doesn't lock very well.  I made sure to lock it so that it didn't tip when my daugther moved from side-to-side, however, I always woke up to find her tipped to one side of the bassinett.  The storage on the bottom is, however, an added plus.  We're no longer using the bassinett but still have items stored on the bottom.

We recently got this bassinet for our newborn daughter. It is a beautiful piece to have in our house. We tend not to like the bright colorful baby items and this is much more neutral and blends in with the rest of the decor in our house. My husband put this together easily, in under an hour and my 2 year old daughter even "helped". It has a shelf underneath the bassinet that is so wonderful and handy. We keep 3 baskets under there full of extra bassinet sheet, newborn clothes, diapers, wash clothes, etc. Two things I like about it is that the bassinet rocks, but also locks in place so it stays still. This is important because I have an active toddler who might try to rock her dolls to hard in it or rock the baby while sleeping soundly. Also the bassinet is portable (on wheels) You don't have to have the wheels on. We do because we wheel the baby into different rooms for naps and such. Also the wheels lock in place if you want the whole bassinet to stay stationary.

We loved everything about the Eddie Bauer Bassinet. Our daughter was born 5 weeks early and needed to stay in the NICU at the hospital until she was healthy enough to come home. She was so tiny and I didnt know that she would be comfortable in a full sized crib. My husband and I left the hospital in search of a bassinet. We came across this product and I instantly fell in love with it by the looks. It matched her nursery perfectly and wasnt cheap looking like many bassinets are. She slept well in this from the moment we brought her home from the hospital until she was almost six months old and the only reason we moved her out of it then was due to safety reasons because she was rolling over and pulling herself up. It was great for us and we both got good nights sleep. Loved that you could use it as a rocker or you could lock it into place. Also enjoyed the light for late night feedings and the vibration for helping her fall asleep. I purchased this for my brother and his girlfriend who are getting ready to have a baby and they love it.

i hate to give bad reviews but his one definitely deserves it. the eddie bauer basinet is very cute and it looks good anywhere. we have our in our room, it has wheels so its easy to take from place to place. its gender neutral so we got to keep it for our son (my kids are 12 months and 3 weeks apart) however, none of them liked it. the reason is obvious, it rocks from side to side so when. the baby moves it rocks and when it rocks the baby tips to its belly or back when he/she was laying on its side. it has locks to stop the rocking but they aren't sturdy and still make it rock. it has storage space on the bottom, we put wicker baskets filled with diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream and other baby items. it plays music and has a volume adjuster but that doesn't make up for the main use of it. i wish we had originally got a playpen and used that instead. the eddie bauer basinet only serves us as decoration.

The Eddie bauer bassinet is a great must have for those early stages in infancy. We at first didn't think we would get a bassinet and just put our daughter in her crib in her room. Luckily, our neighbor had this bassinet and let us borrow it. We had the first night home and used it for about 3 months until she started to roll around a little bit. Once she started to roll, if I forgot to lock the rock feature she could make it rock a little bit. It is nice that it has a rock feature and a music feature. I loved the storage underneath for lots of blankets and diapers and other baby stuff. The bassinet also is on wheels and allowed us to wheel it from the bedroom to the living room easily. I do wish the head coverage was a bit more since it didn't provide much darkness. Another plus was everything is removable for washability, a definite must with infants since they seem to make a mess all the time.

We bought this bassinet for my second child.  It is such a pretty bassinet.  I love the way it looks; very stylish.  It was pretty easy to put together and take apart when the time comes.  We now have a third child who is also using the bassinet so I definitely feel like we have gotten out money's worth.I think there are two cons.  One, the music is very cheesy so we rarely turn that on.  The other is that it can be a pain to wash.  For example, one of my kids got something on the canopy part but there is wiring in the canopy and it's all attached so I ended up taking the whole thing apart and washing it in the bath tub and hanging it to try.  It washed up well though so that was good.All in all I would definitely recommend this product.  It fits in our room just fine and I love having my baby right next to me at night without him being in bed with us.  He sleeps very comfortably in it and I sleep better knowing he is safe.
