Erik was only 13 when he started ERIK'S in a barn in his parents' backyard. With an entrepreneurial spirit and the money he saved from his job as a paperboy, Erik bought 50 used bikes that he repaired and sold. A homemade sign brought business to the barn door.
By his senior year, Erik's Bike Shop was stocking new bikes and accessories. It began taking over storage space in his parents' basement... and then the dining room... and then the family room. So at 18, Erik moved his business out of his parents' barn and opened his first store.
Today ERIK'S is the Midwest's leading bike, ski and board retailer. A lot has changed, but Erik's core business principles remain: professional staff, unbeatable customer service, and remarkable product expertise - all in a friendly store environment. And Erik still enjoys working in the shops to help customers find their perfect ride.
This is a great place for all things bicycle and cycling (carbon fiber bike). Easy ordering, great selection of everything related to bicycles and cycling, fair prices, incredible specials, and free and/or reasonable shipping costs. I love this company; it is my Go-To cycle store now and forever. It allows global services USA, China, India, Australia, etc.

I used Erik's online chat to ask about an electric bike I wanted to purchase that was out of stock. Joel helped me and he thought there were some in the warehouse ready to be assembled, but wanted to confirm. He took my contact information and said he would call me with an update. Joel called me the next day and said they had some. I ordered one over the phone, chose the store I wanted to pick it up at and received an email order confirmation in minutes. Great job Joel and Erik's. Thanks for following through on my request.

Good selection and particularly great prices on the items that interested me. Also helpful support staff when I called for assistance deciding on an appropriate ski length, and confirming that the bindings I wanted were compatible with both the skis being purchased and with new boots I may buy next season. Would have been nice if binding mounting was included, but happy to get the skis I wanted and the bindings I liked at a good price.
