The Dupont laminate flooring in the slate floor design is beautiful. My kitchen floor has never looked this good.  I wish we had done this sooner.  This floor was reasonably priced. It is 10mm thick with an existing pad attached to the back, 1 less thing to purchase. The floor is a little tricky to install at first. However, after reviewing the directions and laying two rows out, we were able to assess our needs and begin laying the floor. If you make sure your flooring is put together tightly there are virtually no seams. I am a very picky person and can see a dog hair on any surrface. I was only able to detect one seam and that was under direct lighting hitting that spot. And as for dog hair, the color we chose hides EVERYTHING!! I am thrilled at that. There is some wasting of product due to matching up of the slate design plus with cuts needed to go around doorways, etc. The waste is minimal though. I figured 6 boxes for our sq. footage and that is exactly what we used. I would recommend this floor to anyone and would definitely use it again.
