I've used lots of other anti-aging products - many of which I find effective on some level or another - but I now have a soft spot for Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Bright Skin Tone Correcting Serum. It appears to brighten my skin immediately upon application, likely due to its vitamin C content, and I'm a huge fan of that! The lotion is lightweight, easy to apply, has a pleasantly light and fresh fragrance, and did not irritate my sensitive acne-prone skin. There are stronger treatments on the market for hyperpigmentation, but they can be hit or miss on sensitive skin due to the irritation the active ingredients can cause. If you want a product that works, but in a gentler fashion, I recommend giving this product a try. It may take a bit longer to show effect on dark spots, but overall it brightens the skin quickly so the spots are less noticeable, and the fading effects do take place over time. Effectiveness Gives skin an overall brightening boost to hold you over until its age-spot-fading effect kicks in. Scent Very light and refreshing Ease of Application Lightweight and easy to smooth onto face.
