This is another Dove product that I really love. I dye my hair all the time, so I am constantly looking for a great shampoo to keep my color alive and thriving. This shampoo definitely helped keep my color looking wonderful and I am really glad that I tried it. I dye my hair a dark red most of the time and it is often hard to keep that type of color bright. Dove Moisturizing Color Therapy shampoo deep cleans my hair while preserving my hair color. I have noticed my hair color stays brighter at least two weeks longer than it normally would if I used regular shampoo. Also, this shampoo helps moisturize my hair that has dried out from the dying process. It is like killing two birds with one stone. My dried out and damaged hair is being repaired while my color remains as bright as the day I dyed it. While using this shampoo, I can go at least two weeks longer before I have to dye my hair again. I definitely recommend this shampoo if you dye your hair regularly and you want your hair to stay soft and moisturized while keeping the color beautiful and strong.

I have colored treated hair so I try and use a lot of the color treated shampoos out there to see what qualities it offers. I tried the Dove moisturizing color therapy shampoo and it locked in my color into looking a lot shinier. This keeps my color lasting longer then what it usually does. All color fades but only certain shampoos lock and seal in your color to last longer, this is one of them. It moisturizes my hair into feeling a lot softer after one use. The texture of this shampoo is so rich and thick that all you need is a little bit. It lathers up well and it conditions my hair too while its gentle to my color. This shampoo is also great for highlighted hair, I have blonde peekaboos in my hair and it makes my blonde feel touchably smoother then what it was before. It repairs and puts a lot of moisture in my hair and it seals my color making it look vibrant and soft. This dove shampoo is inexpensive so its affordable.

I used dove for color treated hair for the first time about two months ago. I would no not use any other shampoo, as dove helps my color last longer and makes my hair feel softer. it also has a nice sent. it is not to strong that you smell it over everything else. I do also use the conditioner to compleat the protection. the shampoo is thick and creamy with a nice textur. I would recomend using this shampoo if you have dark colored hair and would like to keep it that way longer. it aso helps keep your gray from turning back to grey. This dove shampoo is fast and easy to use for someone like me. I am a mother of three and I do not have a lot of time or money to spend on myself. So the money I pay for my color I have to save for and if using a shampoo like dove for dark colored hair helps it last longer I am all for it. With the cost of things now a days it is nice to know you get your moneys worth when you buy dove for dark hair shampoo.

But it works just as good if not better than the higher priced color protectant shampoos. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone who dyes their hair.
