I love all the Dove products and always am buying something from their product line. Dove soap is my favorite along with the shampoo and conditioner and this lotion rates right up their with them. Dove Face Protective Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 15 is important to me because not only does it do a wonderful job or relieving my dry skin, it also offers sun protection. That is also important to me as I have had skin cancer and sun damage to my skin. My dermatologist is very insistent that I use sunscreen on my face every day even during the winter months and this lotion is a good way that I do not forget. It has a pretty strong smell that is very nice but may be too strong for some people especially when you are putting it on your face. It moisturizers very well, very effectively. It is very easy to apply and a bottle last a long time. I recommend it for all skin types but maybe not for people that are sensitive to fragrances in their lotion.

I usually use Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer SPF 15, but I had a coupon for a Dove product, so I decided to try Dove Face Protective Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15. So far, I've been pleased with it -- it goes on smoothly, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and keeps my face from feeling dry and flaky. However, it's a bit more strongly scented than Olay and doesn't absorb quite as quickly, so I'm not sure I'll be making a permanent switch. Effectiveness I put Dove Face Protective Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 on daily after my shower, and so far it has helped me avoid tight, scaly winter skin. Ease of Application Dove Face Protective Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 is very easy to apply, just rub it gently over your face with your fingertips. I find it's texture to be a little thinner than my usual Olay, so it feels a little greasy until it absorbs into my skin (which doesn't take very long). Scent It has a slightly chemical smell (like sunscreen, perhaps unsurprisingly), but that dissipates once it's applied.

I use a lot of different lotions and shampoos because I use trial and error to find out if they are really working the way the company advertises that they do. I found this product is wonderful. I use a lot of Dove products and this is definitely a keeper. Effectiveness I have a hard time finding lotions because I have really sensitive skin. I break out easy and perfumes mess with my skin bad. This lotions is exactly what I need. I love the fact that it has sunscreen in it so using it daily I can feel good that I am protecting my skin and doing something good for myself. Ease of Application Very easy to apply. Soaks in fast and keeps my skin feeling soft for a long time even being outside in the wind and cold. Does not make my skin look greasy or feel greasy either. Wonderful product. Scent I do not notice a scent with this product. I love that because then it does not mix with my body sprays. Easily used. Easy to find. great price and works.

Got this lotion as a bargain and has worked well for me. The spf 15 is a wonderful addition to the moisturizing capabilities of this lotion. Gives me a two in one product to help me skip a step. The lotion very easily absorbs with its easy dispensing container. The only con for the bottle is you have to shake it down since it is stored with the opening on top. I have oily skin which makes it hard to use lotions that have spf in them without making my skin more oily. The lotion only needs a little bit to mosturize which makes the bottle last a really long time. With out a pump it allows all the lotion to be used. The spf 15 is a good amount of UV blocking protection, with out having to use any other sunblock.

I love doves face lotion! after i wash my face or take a shower i always put some on because my face is so dry it drives me nuts! i also like it because when i wash my face i still have eye liner around my eyes and when i apply the lotion the make up comes off really easliy! the price is definitly worth the product. Sometimes its hard to find in stores near me but i refuse to buy any other kind. My son likes to use the lotion on his face too. even tho hes only three. The lotion doesnt break my face out and doesnt cause me any irritation. ive probably have used the dove face lotion roughly about 5 year. a little bit of lotion goes a long way too. i only buy maybe 3 bottles a year if that! because it last awhile and it doesnt dry out!

Dove Face Protective Moisturizing Lotion is a very good product.  I am not using it now because it seems like my face has become immune to it.  I change deoderants and shampoos along the same line of reasoning and have heard others do the same.  I really liked using Dove because it did not sting like a lot (i mean a lot) of face moisturizers did.  I have very dry skin and I often look like I am peeling from a sunburn.  Dove was very helpful in moisturizing my face, however I have now turned to a more heavy duty moisturizer.  I still would recommend this product to people with normal skin.  My sister and mother still use it and I use it if I am ever spending the night at their house.  It smells so good and feels great.  It is nice that it has the extra SPF, but doesn't smell like sun screen.  Dove reassures you that you are doing the best at taking care of your face.  It is a good price for what you are purchasing and available at many stores.

I have combination skin--oily in the T-zone and super dry cheeks, especially in the winter. I also have overly sensitive skin. Dove moisturizer gives my cheeks the right amount of moisture without causing any breakouts on my forehead or nose. I am also very fair-skinned, so I burn at the drop of a hat. I need a moisturizer with UV protection as well, and Dove does the job. My only complaint is that it is more heavily-scented than I would like. Overall, it is a great value for the price.

I have been using this for years. I have sensitive skin and could not find a moisturizer for my face before this came out. Everything I tried gave me a rash. I was expecting more of the same from this product especially since it is not specifically for sensitive skin. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This product is not oily and does not leave the skin oily. It absorbs quickly and does a great job of healing dry skin. The built in sunscreen is an added bonus. It may only be SPF 15, but it is something that we all should apply daily and just don't do because we don't think about it. I have made this product part of my daily skin care routine since I saw it available for purchase. In that time I have tried other products as well, and nothing else comes close to the effectiveness of this one. Because of the great experience I had with this product, I went on to try other Dove products and have integrated them into my everyday life. Dove is one of my favorite brands and makes wonderful products especially for those who are super sensitive.

I love this product.  I need to moisturize and protect my skin from the sun's damaging rays daily, but I hate the feeling of most moisturizers.  Not this one! The most wonderful part of this moisturizer is that it goes on smooth and you forget you have it on.  It doesn't leave that masked feeling to your face.  Even better, it has SPF 15 so you don't need another sunblock for your face. Dove Face Protective Moisturising Lotion SPF 15 is a lotion that I have been using for years. I love it because since I have oily skin, it doesn't make it feel more oily. The plus that it has for me is that sunscreen has been added to it. One of my friends who is a model-type told me that one of the best things you can do for your skin is to use sunscreen. Since it's been added to the lotion, and the lotion is part of my daily skin care routine, it's built in and I wear it all the time. Since I live in a place where there is a lot of sun, this has come in handy countless times. I like Dove particularly because it always seems to nourish your skin. I also use the body bar for when I shower. Since I am a busy Mom, I don't do much for my skin, so I choose the fundamentals, and Dove body soap and this Dove lotion are part of my basic everyday life. Though the bottle is not cheap, though compared to other brands it is cheaper, it will actually last you quite awhile. I think one lasts me almost a year.
