I used Dove Deep Moisture Facial Lotion only a couple of weeks when I was experimenting with different moisturizers and found it to be a negative to my face. I would apply this moisturizer twice a day with my regular post rinse regiment. The consistency of the lotion was good and it applied easily to my skin. It would absorb in to my skin immediately and no residue was left behind. One of the problems with this lotion is that it started to make my face feel itchy. I resisted scratching and touching my face, but where ever it itched I would get a new pimple. I continued to use this product in hopes that it would subside over time, but the itching never let up. I did stop getting new pimples but they were replaced with red marks. The marks would only stay on my face for a couple of days, but new ones were constantly appearing. Once I stopped using Dove Deep Moisture Facial Lotion my face returned back to normal. I ended up using the remaining lotion on my body and it did a good job of moisturizing my skin with no irritation.

We used this product for a long time but recently haven't been able to find in at any of our local stores. I used it year round and liked the way that my skin felt after using it. It was not greasy like so many of the moisturizers. Effectiveness What I liked best about this product was it made even my dry skin feel soft. I have tried a lot of other moisturizer since this one but have never found one that I liked as well. I could use it and while it moisturized it wasn't greasy feeling. I liked that it have a UV protection for those of us in the sunshine each day. Ease of Application Easy to apply and the container was designed to eliminate waste. It is a rare product that I felt I would pay more for than what it cost but I think I would be willing to pay more for this quality product. Scent One of the pluses of this product was the vitamins and nutrients that is added to this product. Best of all it does not have have a perfume smell that you associate with female cosmetics. I felt that my skin was healthier when I used this product.

I love, love, love this moisturizer!  It is hard for me to find a lotion I can wear during the day, under my makeup, without being greasy.  I have oily skin, but it is dry in spots.  Plus I find that if I use a moisturizer, my face produces less oil.  So I've tried quite a few.  Not only does it leave my skin feeling soft, but it has an SPF of 15, so there is some protection there.  I can tell if I haven't applied it all the way up to my hairline, because that area will get burned if I am out in the sun too long.  The rest of my face is ok. Having oily skin also means I'm prone to breakouts.  I have had problems with other moisturizers worsening that, but not with Dove.  It's so light I don't feel like I'm wearing lotion at all. I also like the price of this product.  There are many more expensive creams out there, but this one does exactly what I need it to at a price I can afford!  Worth every penny!

I have used Dove products for several years, it is a brand I trust and love! I purchased Dove Deep Moisture facial lotion several months ago and used it faithfully for several weeks (until it was gone!)  I love that it has an SPF 15 because I put it on every morning and appreciate the added UVA/UVB protection throughout my day.  It goes on smoothly and evenly and leaves my skin looking and feeling soft throughout the day.  The product claims it won't clog pores and I never broke out while I was using this product.  My one complaint is the smell, it doesn't smell bad but it doesn't smell good either.  Maybe because it is hypo-allergenic there is not a fragrance in the lotion.  I prefer a lotion that is effective and smells great at the same time.  I would use Dove Deep Moisture facial lotion again but I think there are better face lotions out there, but Dove is a great brand and great for my budget.

This is the only face moisturizer I have used in almost four years, and my skin still loves it. Before trying this out, I had tried close to two dozen different facial lotions, trying to keep my skin hydrated, but not oily. I know different skin types need different moisturizing levels, but this is really a nice middle of the road skin product. It is labeled as 'Deep Moisture' but it absorbs really nicely rather than just sitting on top of the skin which can often cause your makeup to cake up and keep you powdering all day just to try to avoid being shiny. I use this everyday, and it is great because it has broad spectum spf 15 built right into it, and you can feel confident that your skin is being protected from both both uva and uvb rays (it says so right on the front label). Many other facial lotions can cause breakouts, but this is dermatologist tested to not cause breakouts and wont clog pores. I did notice that they changed it a bit about a year after I started using it, so now it has a very faint orange citrus smell to it, but I only smell it every once in a while, and my best friend who also uses it, and now loves it, never noticed before I just spoke of it, so maybe I am just a super-smeller! I am just glad it doesn't smell like sunscreen.

This lotion does what it's supposed to; it moisturizes.  It also has SPF 15 built right in so that is a great added bonus.  It goes on smooth, works great under makeup, and doesn't make my sensitive skin break out.  Its a great product!
