Perfect Guest or Kid Bed
I originally purchased the Dorel Home Furnishings Espresso Full Daybed first as a guest bedroom bed. It served almost as a couch and bed in that room when we had guests. When my oldest son was ready to transition out of a toddler bed, it became his. I loved the espresso finish in our guest bedroom, and it goes well with his jungle-themed room as well. There is plenty of storage space underneath the bed. The only drawback is that it is tough to get the sheets and blankets tucked all the way under the mattress especially at the headboard and along the side of the bed. I still have not figured out an easy way to make the bed. I love the decorative look of the vertical slats. It is a rather simple style that can be accessorized with throw pillows, although I found that sometimes the pillow would slip between the slats. Overall, the bed is nice and relatively sturdy. I think I'd rather use it for a guest bed than my child's bed. We decided to get bunk beds for the boys to share, so this one has once again relocated to the guest bedroom. It looks great in there.
